 I suppose this could apply to both those in the Dominant & submissive camps, as well as anyone anywhere in between. Do you ever get the impression someone is merely parroting back to you what they think you want to hear?

Like when you say, "I'm looking for this, this and this" and the other party says, essentially, "I provide that, that and that." A match made in heaven - Right?

One would think this probably happens to someone newer to the lifestyle when they're being taken advantage of by someone who's been around and knows just what to say. Of course I'm sure it happens to those who've been around the block several times too - and they're probably more able to pick up on 'parroting'.

I'm sure many, if not most, of you in the peanut gallery know exactly what we're talking about. The ole "I just love doing this, this, a little of that and a lot of those!" Oddly enough, you hear the exact thing in response. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

 So I guess that is just part of the game for some people. The profile is like a resume to get date. And you are hoping the interview does not continue to discover the lies/exaggerations

No, let's hope the lies and exaggerations are exposed quickly up front .... I think about 95% of them give themselves away just by their profile verbiage.

Yeah, but some are very good at what they do. Lots and lots of communication are necessary to determine who you're really talking with and to determine the compatibility level.

 I've run into a few but most of the Mistresses I know aren't really interested in parroting anything.....they know what they want.
