It seems to me that a 'reputation' is something you get within a group setting of people that not only know you, but know each other well too. High school comes to mind first, but then maybe your college living situation or work environments provide ample breeding grounds too?

You could certainly get a reputation within your college fraternity, sorority or dormitory. Work is perfect for getting a reputation too, but high school is the one that comes to mind. I'm sure each of us can think of some classmates and remember their 'reputation' .... Be it true or not.

For us guys, I bet we all knew the girls that had reputations of being, shall we say, 'easy' ... Didn't we? I think the ladies in the peanut gallery had it easier in this area, because us guys are all easy. Getting into our pants was no problem. Now that I think of it, I bet 95% plus of high school reputations were of the sexual nature.

That sounds about right. We all knew the people who were smart or nice or assh*les or otherwise. Maybe those could be considered reputations, but I think people's sexual procliivities are the ones that hit the nail on the head, especially for the ladies. By the way .... Did any of you ladies have a reputation for being, shall we say, 'loose'.?

There was a darkened unused corridor in our High School where we'd go to make out. Those who used it had a certain reputation, yes.

That sounds delicious ... Mine had no such corridor.

I''m thinking there probably was some serious 'feeling up' going on too.

Yeah, I was in the band during my high school years I had a reputation but "easy" was not the adjective!

So now we just have to guess what it was? Reminds me of the old game show on TV ... 'What's My Line?'

Hmmm .... The plot thickens.

It would be a compelling scene going back in time, walking into a class, and seeing the image above.

Dayum, back then I might have sold my soul for that rep.

Yeah ... You might have been known as a 'big' man on campus.

Hmmm .... Would that be in length or circumference?
