the insurance game

just got a notice that my car insurance is going up...

They gave me the same bullshit story about cost going up for my age group. I've never filed a claim with this company/paid my monthly payment on time without hassle/never even had a parking ticket.

And if anything my car has depreciated as the year has passed/plus i aged one year...

If anything you'd think my payment would lower or at least remain the same.

I think it is total bullshit to base my rates on an age or sex pool....I'm a great driver..why should I pay for some careless asshole?

I wrote tyler from geco back:

Dear Tyler,

I will give your company 1 week to win my business back. I'm hardly 21 and have alot of options. There are plenty of insurance companies willing to take on a like myself ( great age/great driving record/pays his policy on time/no wrecks/no tickets/no duis etc). Basically I'm a fucking honey pot!!!

I'm tired of this socialist bullshit of paying for other's mistakes... I can get a cheaper rate anywhere!

So don't dick with a 47yr old man!

 i would rather fight these asshole over a two dollar increase than just give in ..fuck geico.. i am a good man that pays his policy on time how dare those assholes raise my rates!

 I serious doubt there is even a tyler.. all the customer service jobs in america were outsourced to india. Tyler is probably the name they assign the customer service rep. ( to make him seem more american).

Any response I get them back gets picked up by another customer service rep....

so it is sorta fun to go back and forth with them...now they want to talk to me on the phone
