Just curious if anyone is excited as I am about the new show...

And trust me leo the grumpy cat is hardly a sci fi guy ( I havent seen a star wars movie since the prequels or a marvel since iron man 1).

They really don't interest me...but star trek is different.

I won't give away spoilers from the online trailers....but holy shit...

 Interesting. It mixes the traditional timeline and characters with facts from the rebooted one (destruction of Romulus).

 I love The Next Generation but I wasn't a fan of Star Trek Discovery so I'm still fairly cautious when it comes to Picard.
I hope it will be great but they still might fuck it up.

 I love all iterations of the various Star Trek series but I'm only lukewarm about the movies. So, I wait with bated breath for Picard .
