The gun debate in 3 easy answers I'm honestly don't even know why there is a debate.. The answer is simple. If the state can't or won't protect you,then you have to protect yourself. 1. We all heard about the parkland cop that stood by and refused to enter the school during the shooting. Most people assume that he is legally obligated to intervene. NOPE... the scotus ruled that a cop doesnt have to . They get to assess the situation and make that judgement . So a cop can legally sit back and wait while some guy is ra@@ing you..or wait during a home invasion till s/He feels safe enough. Hell backup could take 5 minutes to reach you. Nope the state has no legal obligation to help/protect It's citizens. It has no legal obligation to stop a crime. 2. 911 calls..have you tried use this in a major us city?.. in kc I dialed 911 and was put on hold...then depending where you are in that city you might be rerouted. It's a fucking 911 for fuck sake. 911..for emergencies...and I was put into a waiting cue Meanwhile your getting robbed,beaten,someone breaking into your house etc. 3. 2 dudes... Now i am pretty good in a one on one fight..but I'm not Patrick swayze and this isn't road house. If 2 dudes start swinging on me I either brandish a weapon of some sort or my ass is kicked/I am dead. I already said the cops don't have to intervene....the 9 11 callmight never get through.. And you can't fight multiple people...we see women get killed,jumped,ra@@ed every day ( funny how noone has a problem with her having mace...how is a gun any different?) If politican want to see unarmed citizens then they need get rid of their own armed guards. For example the new mayor of kc went to the local radio station to talk about gun violence today ( true story). His protection staff went in before him and accessed the situation...meaning he has armed guards checking the place out plus personal armed body guards/ kc cops by his side....like is he obama or something??? dude do you need that many armed personel...you were going a radio station in the nice part of the city. But It's fine for him have armed personnel ..you try that sometime. It seems like the state is good at protecting its own Yet isnt required protect you. I guess its good be king..er mayor. The state can't protect you...you either protect yourself or die. Hence the need for some sort of personal protection... Or simply run for office and have the state protect you |

I am just making a point that alot of people are unaware of. Alot of people are against self protection because they think they are safe,live in a safe neighborhood, etc. But as we seen violence can happen anywhere... The cops are not a simple phone call away. Nor are they an instant solution to your predicament. There is no safe zone. The cops arrive after the fact. Hell your more likely to have your crime filmed for youtube than have a cop show up during the actual crime.. Alot of people won't like this piece because it breaks societies illusion of a state protecting It's citizens. But it's the actual ruling by the supreme court concerning police, it is my personal experience phoning 911 in Kansas city ( being rerouted,put on hold is the norm). And yes there are 88 homicides this year alone in my city.. And yes you may experience violence in the most yuppie of spots..in the kc art district they hold first ftidays...an event where all the techies,yuppies,well to do pour into the city and hang out. A girl got shot at a freaking food truck on Friday during this event...which included our receintly elected mayor. The cops could do nothing to prevent this from happening.. So ask yourself...how safe are you?

Er your rude and disruptive... And further make my point... Maybe you've noticed violence is everywhere...have you looked at the murder rate in like Chicago or st Louis? Yet people obsess over school shootings...kids are getting shot everyday.. and noone..not the press..not our politicans..not our sjw athletes..Will talk about our youths in the inner cities being shot. Why is That? How safe are you really?

Your topic is "gun control" . . Has nothing to due with self protection. The first stand your ground shooting in Missouri involved a college student shooting a man that stole a cell phone as the thief was running away. He shot the thief seven times, in the back. Gun control in legislation has more to do with the type of weapons we allow in our society and the regulations of their use. For example everyone is allowed to own a sling shot but no one is allowed to own an atom bomb. Stand your ground laws regulate self protection, not guns!!

No my blog is all about gun control and how ridiculous the notion is.. I legally can't carry a sword..but I can legally carry and conceal a gun. I'd rather legally conceal a sword..that would be boss..but my own choice is a gun..that is why used it as an example In my self defense arguement

OH... where do you make referece to GUN CONTROL? All I see is you rambling on about your local police forces attitude to dealing with an emergency... an emergency in your eyes, because it revolves around you, and you think you are important enough to warrant prioritization of their resources. Then you ramble on about your local politician having protection, in this day and age where terrorism is such a huge factor. What your post is about is not Gun Control, its about having a Fight or Flight response, and clearly you have no intelligence to choose Flight. 1. Did it ever occur to you, that he may have received instructions from a superior NOT to go into a situation where he was likely outnumbered, into a situation where he could easily be overcome, and not only die but give more weapons/ammunition to the people inside, not only that but access to police communications which may hinder the forces ability to actually tackle however many were inside. Of course not, you are only thinking about the number of kids and teachers inside being murdered. A tragedy yes, but this post isnt about that, its about your interpretation of another WITHOUT ALL THE FACTS. Do you not realize, he knew that, that he was proabably itching at going in despite being told to wait for back up. 2. 911 calls..have you tried use this in a major us city?.. in kc I dialed 911 and was put on hold...then depending where you are in that city you might be rerouted. Its called ALLOCATING RESOURCES, do you have the lack of intelligence to think that is any different any where else in the civilized world ????? The country doesnt have ONE emergency call center handling the entire countries 911 and non emergency call outs. They will transfer you to a relevant department that covers your neighbourhood. Now just think... how many other people in your neighbourhood have called 911 at that very moment to report THAT crime, do you think the emergency services need to answer 20 911 calls for the same fucking subject? "911 whats your emergency? My cats stuck up a tree "911 whats your emergency? My chinese take away is late "911 whats your emergency? I am a fucking retard and i think the world revolves around me NO, this isnt about gun control, this is about you having a fucking rant. So can we get back to my original theme of this post. Safety is an illusion. There are no safe zones and violence will always be here. If you can't protect me...then all I ask is to be able to legally protect myself through some means. I chose guns as the topic because in the USA it is the only weapon a person may own,have out in the open on their person, conceal or use ( depending the state) for self defense . I'd gladly carry anything other than a gun. But it is my own legal form of defense..in some states even pepper spray is illegal, tazers may be illegal .etc. So which is it...protect me oh nanny state or let me protect myself

First off I would ban you for being so rude..but this is fun. Have you ever been jumped,attacked, had someone break into your shit etc... You can't just run away.. the parkland students couldnt just run away..neither could the kids at columbine or the people at the pulse night club. It literally is you against..one...two..more people who don't obey the laws. They dont give a fuck about your money Have you ever been in a fight? Honestly have you ever beaten a person till they stopped fighting. I grew up super poor. .for those in other countries that is the "hood" you see in the movie..but I'm not black. ...my dad was disabled..we grew up on welfare..lived in public housing..got free meals at school. Shopped at good will for clothing. When your poor you learn to fight. Or else. I'm not afraid of one guy. But im afraid of a gang of kids that set up a girl and literally beat the crap out of her..( filmed for youtube no less)...or the woman that is simply out jogging and gets murdered.( happened like in march?) They couldn't just run away. I can fight..I literally have been fighting all my life. But others cant..who are we to say these people shouldn't be allowed to arm themselves.. Alot of times you can't run.. ,I'd like to then be able to whip out my s&w crome platted 9mm w 10mm rounds..12 in the clip( which back then was very legal)😁 God bless the usa
