So an armed man walks into a Missouri walmart...

Okay seeing how i am from Missouri I will break it down for you all.

Dude walks into a walmart..he is wearing a bulletproof vest ( not illegal to wear or own..you can them on amazon)..
On his back is an ar 57or was it an ar ? not important..it isn't an " assault " rifle. It isn't automatic...

He is in Missouri which is an open carry state..meaning walking in with a gun is legal.

Now if your a youtuber watcher like myself you've seen vids like this where open carry second amendment people will do this very scene.
They will walk down the road with a rifle strapped to their backs..someone will freak out and the cops. The cops will confront these people and it ends up on YouTube.
These people are well in their rights and usually the cops on the law.

This is very legal as long as the gun isnt loaded and the person isnt threathening anyone.

So the media is screaming the gun was loaded with 0 rounds...he legally can have so many bullets in the clip as long as it isn't chambered..sorry not sure if there is a limit of ammo in a weapon.
Hence it isn't loaded.

The reports say this guy didn't threaten anyone or point the rifle at anyone...

So now they want to charge him with terroristic threat..

??? Huh... the man was filming the whole time and was talking to people.. assuming this is a YouTube stunt.

So this off duty firefighter whips out his gun and holds this guy till the cops show up.

this point the only criminal act that has occured was the firefighter brandishing a weapon..

By now everyone is probably screaming at ...wtf leo..your supporting this asshat?..

No I supporting the law...and in the state of Missouri from my understandings he did nothing illegal.

? Sure..illegal..no..

No doubt this guy will not only sue walmart but the firefighter.

And alot of people will say open carry is insane..

How so?..I know plenty of people with concealed carry that are very responsible gun owners.
I'd rather see a gun in the open personally. I don't fear guns..I fear people...a gun doesnt you.

And who knows maybe that firefighter with that gun on his hip saves your life.

As a country I think way too many people are gunphobics

That's not exactly accurate Missouri's open carry law doesn't allow anyone to carry guns in a threatening manner. Andreycheno's hand gun was loaded with a round chambered which is illegal and he's being charged with 2nd degree terrorist threat. The fire fighter was within his right to detain Andreychenko until police arrived. Frankly, with the round chambered and the threaten manner Andreychenko is very lucky he wasn't shot.

You need to read the Missouri

Missouri does require a conceal carry license.

The youtubers who do this are just looking to start trouble. It may be within their rights but do they really need to start shit just because they can. Think about it, did he really need body armor unless he was looking for a fight? This isn't normal behavior and he should be detained just for being an idiot.
I would have liked to seen you in that Walmart when this clown walked in. Bet you would have been glad someone stopped him

I'm from missouri...it is open carry ..it's been like that for 2 yrs now..
I'm stating what is legal in my state

I'm going off news stories..they may or may not have reported it accurately. Alot of journalist have no clue about guns and still confuse a rifle with an assault weapon.

No it's illegal for you to have a chambered round in a rifle on your back..but the same applies to a gun in your car. But then again you could never have like a loaded hunting rifle in the rack of your pick up either.

To the media a gun with an unchambered bullet may be confused with it being loaded. So im not sure if the media knows what it is talking about

One is legal and the other is not. And yes bullets in a clip is legal.

Alot of youtuber pull the same 2nd admendent stunts..
They walk on the highway with a gun strapped to their backs..
People freak out and call the cops..
These youtuber know the law...they let the officers look at the rifles..never get into any trouble..
The rifle is never chambered.

The cops then sorta shrug..explain they have to respond to these calls. Shrug again.
The youtuber explains they are making a video.
Cop shrugs

When i heard about this incident..I assumed that is exactly what this guy was doing..
If you were gonna kill people you don't walk up to them and talk..meanwhile filming all of this.
He was looking for a reaction of some kind.
Most likely people freaking out cause he is carrying a legal weapon..in a legal fashion..legally in an open carry state.

I never heard anything about him pointing the gun at anyone or threathening anyone...which is illegal..
But so is brandishing a weapon like the fire fighter did.

So unless this guy was an idiot and did have the rifle " loaded"...the only thing they can charge him with is that pseudo charge..of " terrorist threat ".

And im gonna assume that has a very broad interpretation..
No doubt any good lawyer could get him off...define terror threat. If this guy was smart and this was a stunt.
Then everything he done is legal
So how can it be labeled a terror threat?

Just cause it freaks someone out doesn't make it a terror threat.

I can walk into a walmart with a total costume on..including wearing a mask..we see it all the time on walmart goofy sites.
Does that mean i can be charged as a thief..does that make me a threat?

Since its not illegal to conceal your face in most states..can I be charged as a terrorist if my attire freaks someone out or causes panic..

And shouldn't the store manager at Wal-Mart be charged also..he pulled the fire alarm to get people out of the store..didn't he create panic based on what appears to be a legal action?

Food for though
