words I use, that I'll bet you don't - 2 hogwash Hogwash is just another word for nonsense, but seriously, who the heck uses this version on even an irregular basis? Synonyms would be; balderdash, baloney, bunk, ridiculousness. You get the point. Okay, technically it meant swill for a hog in the 00’s, but obviously somewhere along the line someone started using it as a slang term of sorts, mean nonsense. As in, “What you’re saying is complete hogwash”. Interestingly enough, I’d say I use hogwash more than I use nonsense, balderdash, baloney, or any of the other synonyms combined. I don’t know how this word got into my lexicon but it seems like it’s there to stay. Some people accuse me of using “big” or unfamiliar versions of words to sound superior, but that’s not true. If anything, it’s a product of my Asperger’s. The idea that I talk down to people by using complicated language is pure hogwash.  |

Hahaha I love saying baloney... Hogwash is one I've heard of but don't use much.
