Chatroom scenes. I am thrilled that many enjoy chatroom scening, and honor their desire to do so, but I just don't enjoy chatroom scenes. Real time relationships and interactions I see are filled with love, sensitivity, charm, concern, etc., and caution and after care are so important a part. Everyone is treated with respect and consideration, but not in chatrooms. Yes, chatroom scenes are fantasy, and limited, but gosh, most are abusive in my mind. Subs are often just meat and not respected properly; as if the dominant is interested in only himself. Again, this is fantasy, and certainly enjoyed by all involved, but it is difficult to understand for those of us seeking the sub/slave who is, forgive the vanilla terms, the love of our life. Yes, all that digital role play confuddles me. Living life inside a computer screen and one's own head is lonely and isolating. That said, for some people it is the only option for play they have.
