Deceit

Deceit is a clever beast
It sits and waits
Watching and learning
All of you traits
It preys on your insecurities
And your need please
And when it learns
All it needs
It begins work
On those insecurities
It knows your triggers
So when you dare
And start question it
It turns them back on you
And as you start think
Before you know it
You begin question it
Is this just
And insecurities
And it sits back
With a smile
Knowing before
You dare question again
You will sit and think
Is This just
And insecurities
Then it curls up
With a knowing look
it's got you
On its hook

Deceit is a decadent trait. Though it's evil lies, not just in the perceived and actual, yet in the actual perpetrator who deliberately creates or acts in ways to allow it's always starved head to rise and start it's consumption
