Reunion of the triad Around three years ago, I introduced a couple of my male lovers to each other. I had had MFM threesomes before but, whilst fun, they had always been one offs and I fancied something a little more connected than that. To my delight, they got on really well and I have so many brilliant memories of nights out on the town, naked nights in and cosy pub lunches. The friendships that developed have been amazing partly as they were built on the knowledge that anyone could talk about anything without fear of being judged. Joint friends started to refer to us as the triad and this has stuck. Relationships within and outside of the triad then developed as they do and, whilst we all remained friends and in contact with each other collectively and individually, we hadn't actually managed to meet up as a three for around a year. That all changed on Friday night when we were all reunited. It was like we'd seen each other yesterday and a fabulous time was had by all. To me, one of the key signs of deep and true friendships is that ability to start up exactly where you left off. I was away in Cornwall recently and caught up with an old friend I've known since I was 18 (a very long time ago!) but hadn't actually seen in person for 5 years. And that reunion was the same. It was like we'd seen each other yesterday. What do you regard as signs of a true friend? |

My true friends do not judge me in any way......they accept me for who I am. I must temper that though, none of my friends know of my lifestyle. I'm not really sure they would understand. One day I might test the waters and tell them.

I have a few friends like that; though none of them "friends" in the sense you describe! But that ability to just pick up where you left off...? Priceless.
