I'm A .... A simple task ..... You said You had a task for me.... You would email me a letter, I was to print it out and deliver it.... The recipient, a girl, only to be known to me as 's'.... She would be in ********* coffee shop in a town nearby... 's' wouldn't know who or what to expect, she had just been told to go there at this time and wait, a test for her, for You to see if her actions would match her words.... I asked how I would know it was her, You said, she will put a flower on her table..... Of,course I went, I got there early so I could see her arrive... And this is the 'account' I sent you after...... 'she walked in, so clearly her.. looking nervy.. attempting nonchalance.. eyes darting all around... she took her seat... head lifting every time someone walked in.... i caught her gaze once or twice, but i wasn't on her radar... she put something on the table.. she sat on a high stool.. i couldn't see if it were a flower or not.. no matter i knew it was her... a few army men were in and out, then a guy in motorbike leathers.. i could feel her tense as they passed by... she was fidgeting... kept getting her phone out.. i wondered if she were texting You... as she finished her drink .. i stood and walked over.... she looked at me.. surprise, shock on face, followed swiftly by relief... she took the letter... i smiled and turned to go.... she asked me to wait, so i turned back.... her words were fast, almost stuttering.. eyes bright, excited.. 'do you know... Him.. i mean...' 'Yes' 'i mean.. do you know Him well' 'Yes' "whats he like.. i mean.. whats he like...?" ’I'd of thought you had some idea by now!' 'oh.. yes.. well.. we've mailed, spoken, text... but please tell me' ( almost begging now) (i put my hand on her thigh) 'you'll find out one day... if... you want to...' 'well i wouldn't be here if i didn't' (i laughed) 'true...' then i held her, hugged her for a moment... then turned and took a few steps.. she called out... 'who are you?' i turned back.... 'i'm A' she said.... 'A...' i turned and left.... We were to meet again, naturally..... |

Such a wonderful opening to a story. Is it true? I hope it is. So much better if it is true. I want it to be true. But either way, I'm captivated.
