In Plain Sight

So I recently watched this Netflix show called Abducted in Plane Sight and ... wow ... it helps me not feel so crazy or stupid. In case you haven't seen it, it's about this 13-yo girl who gets convinced by a man her parents love and respect that she needs to get pregnant by him to save an alien planet.

If that sounds batshit ... well ... then you don't know how easy it is to make an imaginative girl believe something insane. I know, cause something like that happened to me too.

I was also 13 when a man my parents loved and respected got us all convinced that I needed a lot of sexual attention, but it wasn't because of aliens, it was because of demons, and this man was our pastor. To save my soul, I needed a lot of pain, humiliation, and most importantly his holy seed. We would pray over his cock for god to bless his seed, to make it holy, so that it could cleanse my soul of wickedness.

There's a lot more to the story of course, but it lasted till i was 19 before I figured out it was all a lie. But once I knew it, I sorta know it all at once and there was no going back. And after that, they threw me out forever and that was that. I've never seen any of them since then.

So if you think the thing on Netflix is crazy, I'm here to tell you that it's not. Or at least, like it IS crazy, but just because its crazy doesn't mean it's unbelievable. Believe it. There's crazier shit then that out there in this world.

Well, sounds like one of those cult in Texas or Nevada or someplace out west.

nah dont go thinking it was a cult - that makes it to easy. people dont want to think that a normal church has that kind of thing happening in it, but this was just a regular old texas church of christ out in the boondocks. Not a cult - but like the pastor did have a sorta cult-like energe, that's true.

It's amazing how many people can be indoctrinated by others, I hope there aren't too many lasting bad memories.

Congratulations. You seem to have worked through the bad experiences and come out on the other side as a whole and interesting person. Keep up the good work

Maybe i'll make another blog post about this, and thank you all for your kind words, but honestly, it's not so straightforward as to say that it was a "bad" experience. Maybe i shouldn't say this, but the fact that the lady in that netflix show said something similar makes me know it's not just me, but here it is:

i miss it. i miss him. i miss spending time with my family that way. The lady on the netflix thing said that even though she's been married and loves her husband, she's never felt love as good or deep as she did for guy who made her think she needed to get pregnant by him to save an alien civilazation on another planet. i feel the same. Like, yes, they all used me in the "worst" way, but i loved it and i craved it and i begged for it and i never really wanted it to stop, and to this day i've never felt anything as perfect as that.

So like thank you saying you feel bad for me or whatever, but like your sympathy isn't what i was going for on this. I just want people to know this shit happens for real and to really question the nice people in your life. In my experience, we're all just animals and the super nice people are the ones you should trust least. But that being said, i still miss it all. It may be twisted to say this, but those were the best years of my life.

Texas has had its share of cults. But, it is so true that people ( specially males) in positions of power or authority take advantage of young people. Look at the Catholic Church. And others of course. Preachers who preach one thing and then go out and use hookers and such. I do not care for any organized religion. And it seems the evangelist preachers are the worst. So many of them do act lie cult leaders in keeping the "faithful' away from other view points. Just like the current political state of affairs. Separate, divide via fear and such.

I know another young woman, who had some similar experiences, but she worked on a political campaign with the candidate giving here the attention. Sadly, when she did get pregnant he ditched here as he did not want his wife learning of his infidelity. She had a miscarriage, but so wanting ot have a baby still.

We can be so affected by relationships when we are young. The new experiences can be exhilarating. Glad you came out of it all with a good attitude towards life. Have a feeling there is much about you that is very interesting. Best to you now and in the future.
