you are being scammed here If you have received a notification that i have been looking at your profile, this site is scamming you. i have been a member of this site for years and even met a few people through it. Over these years i posted lots of pics, videos and kept my blogs this site, even directing others come here read them. These received many likes and i hope made the site good for you. i never asked anyone send money or direct you a site or anything like that.In return, alt used give gold or vip status so i could interact with members, which i did with many of you. Someone told me the site was sold a while back and they no longer do that - fine - whatever. Because i no longer have gold status i cannot even see profiles. therefore i have not looked at any of yours. sorry also, my IMs no longer work and i cannot see if friends are online. Don't know if that has anything to do with not having gold or they don't work for everybody. Often my blogs are suddenly missing words - just lots of bugs that nobody cares to fix. Each time i check, i receive messages from guys saying i saw you checked me out. i usually respond telling them no, its the site. One guy, after i told him kept sending me messages even after i told him - every time he got another notification....wtf? why are you telling me? i told you its not true - complain to alt - not me. So i'm not really here anymore. Not gonna add more to the site. Not looking at your profile. Perhaps if lots of you complain to the site, they will change back - doubt it though. Done here - not worth it. sorry |

Another satisfied customer..... I think if the people dissatisfied with this site formed a line, it'd stretch around the world three or four times. It's sad .... Very sad. I wish I had a nickel for every blog lamenting how bad this site is. Make Women Female Again

I had to put a line on my profile saying I'm not looking at peoples profile. IM is really screwed up. Hasn't been working for a few weeks and the last week or so not at all. This site has really gone downhill the last year or so. Used to be fun when I was starting out in BDSM. Would be able to talk and meet doms from here on a regular basis. Now if I even talk to a new dom it's rare. I wish they would fix it but I won't hold my breath.

Simply hovering over a profile pic or link seems sufficient to cause such a notification. As does clicking on a pic or link to br told you have to upgrade to.be able to see it

Simple solution to the "Viewing Profile" problem. No one can see when i have viewed their profile, i chose to "hide" it under settings. Problem solved

This is totally a thing, and I mentioned it on my profile as well. This site use to be really great, but now, it is a scam, and I will not be renewing my gold membership next week. Total waste of my money

Actually one of the fun things about Alt.com is that if you read a message from someone, or even just delete it, a message is sent back to the sender saying "(insert name here) viewed their profile". That includes just scrolling over a message in your inbox. Took me a long time to figure this out. Was emailing back and forth with a girl here, she swore she never looked at profiles and had her privacy settings set so she would be "invisible" while looking around on Alt. Noticed after a while that her looking at my always happens after I send an email. So everytime you send a response to guys messages telling them you are not looking at their profile. Alt is sending them a message telling them you are. Took some time to write all that above as letters kept disappearing and words kept changing, hopefully all good.

it is not just you my IM is gone also i guess they don't care to fix it or help fix it i think it is time for ever 1 to act as one and either leave there site and go to Fetlife or not login for a week or so i post vid's and do live cam show but am getting to the point where the site is just bad and no fun to use any more i will leave when it time to renew my self good luck to all and people think about taking action hear to make it better for all to use enjoy

Utter fraud in the way the site is taking money for services offered but not given, even when Gold Membership, which is now a rip off, 3 months on here is the same as 12 months, full year on Local Fetish Fans who previously owned the site. The cr-p of the Cams last year on IM and even now with no indication of friends on line yet on the page to be seen, let alone the 'IM' status on the home page not even being there. The new owners are totally disinterested, I have sent screen shots of the programming code errors, for over 3 months now with no improvement. Wish you well in your future adventures, along with everbody else jumping ship..

Ashley, it would be a shame if you left girl. There are so many here who have perved at your very sexy body for years, me being one of them. I have read quite a few of your blog posts, and enjoyed them immensely. Something that everyone should be aware of, is that for quite a while, when your cursor went over someone's profile it registered as a view, and then about 3 or so months ago, it stopped. I have noticed that this situation has reverted back to what it was like in so far as the cursor thing. That has only started happening in the last week or so. Yeah things changed big time when they sold the company and the new owners are not really interested in doing anything to fix the site. I don't see that changing anytime soon either, so IM is fucked, scammers are increasing and the ability to use this site for any real enjoyment is totally out the door. Ashley, there is a way that you can get gold back, and that is through the 'ice breaker' set up that is available to women only. I don't know if your aware of that girl.

If I look at your profile, you'll never know it unless I want you to by changing to the "make me visible" option. You can do the same and never be bothered again.

Don't waste you time with customer service. I have called several times, they really don't care. A few times they blamed it on my computer being the problem. IM has been a problem for a long time. I don't see it being repaired any time soon.

Yes, this site has gone to shit! All kinds of issues with IM, and they don't give a damn! I have sent numerous complaints about IM issues, losing those valuable points, and I have NEVER received any kind of response. I still like cumming here, I just don' waist $$ on memberships, WHY?
