Italy versus Holland, The Dutch Teachers organisation has allready adviced our governemt to close the schools. People from Italy, from their Teacher Organisation advice the Dutch organisation; Do als we did! Close the schools, NOW! All schools, university all and every one! Do it now! This was going on, last week. "our" governemt just looks away... No! Because it gives too much economical problems, All the parents need to stay home, or at least one parent. And if those parents, or just one of them, works in the Health industrie, We have an whole other problem..... Because we dont have enough tests! Or bed in quarantaine areas! Our health organisations has been stripped down, financial, by 'our' government.... They have not enough nurses, equipment, like it is in almost all countrys all over the world. So, now we see the reality of our Health Organisation. All kind of so called social care for the people is almost all stripped down, to almost nothing... There are not enough doctors and way too much (sick) people! The elbow greet... touch... So, first you have to sneeze in your elbow and then you touch elbows with other people, as a way of saying Hello? What is wrong with that picture?  It is not bad, when you dont know enough to take actions. Why dont you let yourself be guided by those who are allready deep into this shit? No! Holland dont want to listen to Italy, does not matter, that can be a carrier of that virus...No! infecting all and everyone around them? No! That wont happen in Holland! They tell us, stay at least one meter away from each other. Then "our" PM and the Dutch Health organisation hold a meeting and they stand at 30, 35 centimeters from each other, all 3 of them..... AAarrrggggg!!!   They dont have enough tests, so now we really dont know how high the body count is? Or, in wich province there is an other outbreak? Thank the Lord, most sport organisation take their own measures, cancel all matches, games. Except for the Grand Prix! They too, think they are God and they did not (yet) cancel the Grand Prix! Almost overall in the world they cancel the grand prix, motor races, but not here in Holland. Australia has cancelled the motor races, but not here..... Ignorant? Or just plain stupid!? Or, only thinking about the economical impact of the whole pandemie? There is enough money in the bank in our country.. that is not the problem... Italy; their banks cancelled the mortgage..... That does not make my trust and believe in this government really very big! It was not even big to begin with.... I am being cynical here....  What a soap story!

I have no idea what the body count is now, in Holland. Or where the latest out break is...... What i heard is that we are now on the same level as corona was in China, at their top! We are, now, the epicentre of the outbreak of corona.

It is ridiculous though. Did the world shutdown 2 years or so ago when that Ebola epidemic swept through Western Africa? NOPE, but then who really gives a damn about Africa? When the HIV/AIDS virus was found, did the world shut down? Again thats a NO, all they did was blame it on men (mostly the gay community) having unprotected sex. Coronavirus is a Pneumonia disease I have read and seen online descriptions/videos for it, yes its deadly to the elderly and those with immune system deficiencies, WHICH I am one of. Not trying to suggest is the cold or flu, a minor ailment thats fixed with a few days of bedrest. A member of the public is reported and we take few measures to deal with it, BUT, A celebrity name gets it and OH NO WE HAVE TO STOP EVERYTHING. There are treatments for pneumonia, its not like its a body changing time bomb like Ebola or HIV. The Dutch Grand Prix, is 5 races into the season, its a MINIMUM of 5 weeks away. and there will be a couple of races 2 weeks apart. Your organizers like most around the world are expecting this virus to peak after 2 weeks, the English and some European football associations are hoping to put their games back into action from April onwards, because they expect the virus to peak in 2 weeks and start to either settle down or some form of realistic treatment developed other than, go home, stay home and don't have any person to person contact with anyone. You probably are being cynical Has the eredivision (dunno if I spelled that right) ie Dutch Football, stopped all games, or have they done a Germany and told teams to play behind closed doors.... Which sounds great, as long as no one on the team has it already. One thing for sure, all those idiots obsessed with Cam Play are going to imply its the best and safest way to have sex now.....

In the United States most states have closed all the schools . and still don't have enough tests for everyone who needs them

A child in a school in my state of Pennsylvania tested positive before the schools where closed yesterday. I'm sure they never tested all the children in the school ,so who knows how many of them are now spreading the virus.

So the Orange One has decided in the USA to increase availablity of government health insurance in the face of COVID-19. Hasn't he just spent the last 4 years trying to dismantle Obamacare? I laughed at the idea of having no audiences at football games but putting a large screen outside so the crowd can come together to watch the game.... There is a lot of stupidity going on here, and not only in Holland

BDSMbedroomslave, You are absolutely right! About the HIV, Ebola, too! You bet i am cynical! In China it took more then 3 months to get at this point, there are not that much new patiënts anymore... 3 months! In Italy it is still going on! In Germany it is still going on! In Holland there are still new victums.... So, dreaming about holding all those races, It is offcourse all for the money! and just plain stupid in my eyes. Eurodivision is only playing without public for as far as i know. i am not a football fan. Would not care less, if they stopped playing. Ah, well, dont get mad, we will see, how this will develop..... eat your fruit and drink enough!

Where I am the elementary and high schools are closed for three weeks. The universities (including the one I work at) are closed for a week, while we get the classes all online. There will be no more inclass lectures until almost the end of April. Then it will be assessed again. All sports, events, libraries, museums, are all closed. Bars, restaurants and stores are all open. They are saying that our country is at the moment when we could change the course of the virus here. If we all self isolate, we can keep the number of people who are infected to a minimum. Sad thing is people just don't get that...it's St. Patty's day next week, and everyone is making plans to go out. Arggghh. You found parts of me I didn’t know existed and in you I found a love I no longer believed was real.
