Something i read on Fet, They have very good groups, who discuss all kind of stuff, SM/ Dynamic/ RElation orientated. There are soo many good groups, where you can learn a thing or two about the Whole SM- bdsm, protocol, code of conduct, etc, etc... This time, This man, called himself Master and his profilename was something about wanting to f*ck all the time......  ALRIGHT! Asking if he could call himself MASTER- while he had nearly no experience at all, in the many ways SM/ BD-SM/ Kink? swingen can be experienced.... He said, he had 'a slave', but he meant someone to fuck, when he wanted, and outside the bedroom she was not willing or interested to give over her authority, about anything, to him.... Slave? Ofcourse did he show his dick on his profile....... So, he got some real good advice, people were nice to him, because he asked about the honorable title MASTER.... Ofcourse, someone of the Old school told him, you can NOT call yourself master, it is a title other Masters give to you, because of your stance, your being involved in "The scene", how you behave, to all, subs and doms alike. I rather like that. But the Old School is not so common anymore Also a d having a male mentor, who will learn him the ropes, is also not common anymore a mentor were the newbie can come to, with all his qeusitons... It is almost all PORN EDUCATED",  amp;AND we all know what will come from that??horror, wounded women, men too, anyway, There was this D, she told him, you can put any label in yourself, what ever you want. BUT, since you are just in your twenties... Nobody will take that serious at all. And, also, just because you stick that title on you, does not say, everyone needs to honor that title. If you want to CLAIM authority and command respect, Youre going to have to INSPIRE that with your words and actions. |

That is something i mis here, almost all the time, with the messages i get. The messages i get, dont INSPIRE me at all. Ignore, delete and block is what most messages INSPIRE of me.... There are some real great men, on here, who know a thing or two, about the whole bd_SM, code of conduct, taking on responsiblity, caring for their submissive. Being decent, good men!

I know what you mean about earning a title. I've talked with many women who call themselves Mistress or a name close to that but it takes more than a name to make them the true dominant.

I actually prefer being called Sir, to Master. I'm not perfect and I know it. The term Master has always brought to mind someone that has perfected his craft and has nothing to learn.

Rosa, it is so true, the origins and ethics of this lifestyle has fallen by the wayside. It has become a band wagon for any horny guy to jump on, and in so doing is ruining it for the die hards! There are still a few out there who still live by the old ways, but few and far between.
