The inevitable.....? I have this 'lifestyle' friend, although she is now without a sub.... We get along. She did take her shots, first she was 200% against it, but family pressure made her change her mind.... Took about three shots, did not wanted to go, for the booster shot.... We could always talk about this, with each other. No problema! Now? Not so much.. I was at her house today, to help with some DIY jobs. Talking ofcourse, about all and everything, how some women can do that kind of thing! I always call that; we put the world in her place again, for us, to understand... laughs..... Today not so. i told her about the amount of people, all vacinated, who got all kind of strange cancers... TOld her about this English research, that talks about 80 -90 % of the dead people in England, are all vacinated..... About that overhere, in Holland, they are talking about a the high amount of dead, all vacinated.... SHe just did not react, at all.... So, thats it... An topic we cant talk about anymore....? Soo sad.... I can understands that this is frightening her... alot, since her also took the shots.... her mother, too.... There is no way, you can reverse these shots... Does this influence our friendship? I really dont know, it makes it more difficult to be open about this kind of things, that worry me... A lot! It also made me think, about finding this d-M person, and what if he is vaccinated? Like i would not be able to date a very right wing, very conversative man. Our view on the world, is too much apart from each other... To be able to find a common ground? An other thing, side effect? of having had corona, is alot of people are not so healthy anymore The physio therapists are working overtime, too many WIth alll kind of strange side effects.... And, they dont know, how to treat those people, except for massage, and exercises.. BUt, when you are dead tired, from getting out of your bed? You dont have the energy to do the exercises.... There is some strange shit going on, i tell you..... This whole corona pmandemie, has a very big and wide impact on peoples lifes and the social contacts they had.... The social structure of society... as we knew it........ |

It makes me feel sad, We always could talk about anything, without judging each other... For having an other opinion.. Always tried to view it from the others persons viewpoint... Be open about, what ever it was..... As we always talked about all kind of aspects oF SM and D/s or M/s, or play contacts, or topping, or, you name it.

The continuous fearmongering here was incredible. Between the media and union made memes, people were losing their rationality. I had to just avoid several people and unfollow several on fb, family and friends. The daily numbers were mainly bs . They never mention the side effects. ar bad reactions.

I know, for me, there are topics I just stay away from. I think because there has been so much politics involved in the whole pandemic and vaccines that it's just a topic people don't wish to discuss anymore. I don't think it will or should change your relationships. Sometimes, honoring someone's beliefs means just remaining silent.

it takes all kinds of people to make a world. Everyone doesn't have to view the world the same way. If someone wants a vaccine or doesn't it should be up to them to decide. I'm not going to get into politics because thats not what I'm here for, so thats all I'm going to say about that.

Peter, Aah, how "nice", to disguise a insult as some sort of 'compliment'... Yes, i do know, about cancer getting back, AT THE SAME SPOT. I lost a dear friend on bone cancer, she was told she was "clean" and then the cancer came back, ON THE SAME SPOT. Bone cancer.... I also know about cancer being all over the body, spread like a wildfire. That was NOT what i was talking about, maybe i was not clear about my knowledge about how cancer can come back, or destroy the whole body, when it is spreads everywhere... I never heard of someone, who had ánd liver cancer, ánd kidney cancer, ánd breast cancer, at the same time! I am happy, you are very fine, and i for sure hope you will stay that way, one never knows... what will happen.. There could be a meteorite with your name on it... ? stepping out of your house, and bwam! I sure hope that will not happen!! That is always my answer to keep things within perspective...... Stay healty!

no_unicorn. Ooh, i agree, nderstands drmgirl response. The thing is, we always could talk about everything, there were no taboo items... No matter how dark, difficult those items were.... I will keep away from this item, the next time i visit her..that much is clear.

always, Yeah, i understand, every one is free to make their own decisions. That was not what this was about. everything is politics in my believe.... Every choice you make.... talking kinky horny shit all the day, everyday is very tiresome, boring.. in my eyes... There is more to life, living, then how and what you "do" in the bedroom/kitchen/garden, or where ever... How is your project going, in your shed?  How are the little kittens doing?
