On Fet, when people ask how am i going to meet some like minded people They say, time and time again; Go to munches, gatherings, parties. I did that, for quit some time. Going to the Deep South of Holland Going to shows, sales, you name it Going to the West of Holland, traveling 2.5 hour, and for Dutch meassurements that is a long way to travel! So, being on those munches, all i did see where players, not even tops! Just kinky fuckery guys and dolls too! How terrible boring!! All they coud talk about is 'DOING" sm the tools, the assignments, "the punishments" I must say; Those sex players, dó LOVE to punish their...? I can find a word for it... Play partner? BUT, they are NO partners. Because they dont know shit about that other person Only wnat makes her/him horny... So.... How to call that? sex game players? An other thing, those players, really dont "feel" the fullnerabilty of a slave.... They inmediately jump onto the "what makes you horny, what turns you on? As if i am going to talk about such private matter, with a totall stranger? What is wrong with them!! As if they have the RIGHT to know, that about you? IT. IS. ALL.PLAY. Without any kind of connection, as far as i have withnessed. playing games, giggling like little , doing something "nauty"...... Pffff.... tiresome, for me. Once i was at a munch in my home town, there was this couple, She, the submissive, was "being nauty"......  Instead of correcting that on the spot, that socalled "d", "warned" her, that when they were at their home, she will know what was coming to her... Like what parents do, when they have no cleu about raising their offspring...putting down bounderies. and keep them, too! Threatening, but never follow through..... All laughing and joking. It is sooo not my style! All giggling, not one person is able to have a real adult conversation, about something else, "then what makes them horny", Or what they "DID " to their sub(?) Go to munches, is not the solution to my search party, at all. I did meet some real great women, there, really smart and with a great sense of humor. |

I know! I have been rambling about this, before I feel kind of desperate, in my search, for a man, to build a long term- preferable living together, D/s in wich he is in charge.... And SM is our way of "having sex"...... A relation, not some sex games.

I've never been to a munch or party of any type. There is a fairly local group but they're about 25 miles away and meet at night so that's pretty much out. I've been lucky to meet a wonderful Mistress but on another site.

Rosa, If it is not your style, it is just nit your style. I would not force it. Munches can be awkward. It often can turn into a dog and pony show. That can be counterproductive.

no_unicorn/ Justine, Thank you.  it is indeed, exactly that! I always call those gatherings a MEAT show. Showing off,"for the äudience" how "domcineer' they are.... Orignally, munches were hold during daytimes, over here. Now they are more and more at night, wich i really dont like at all.

And secretely happy, when some couple break up, so a "new" doms is again available for "the market"..... bleagh!! amp;To me, that feels very iues. Have seen this happen on most munches.. parties, etc... Not a safe environment to me, at all.

Yes, for us munches are hit and miss, mostly miss. We have met a few others that have the same interests as us at munches, and have gotten lucky where friendships were developed and the sessions were intense. We've also met a lot of play partners both here and fet that were just 1 or 2 sessions only as interests or styles didn't match. Agree with your take on fet. People were easier to meet when alt's IM was actually working and you could chat with people. Seems that is where we met the most people that were could develop a long term friendship with. jenny, Thank you, i shoulld not go to the Dutch part of FET. On the English part of FET, are D/s ,M/s, master slave relations groups, couples, who really discuss the value ans struggle of such a D/s or M/s... They tell about how they structured their D/s or Ownership/ Poperty.... How they grew together and how they managed their power structure. I love to read those items. On the Dutch part it is all ONLY about kinky fuckery, no matter wich profile i read...
