Rituals,

I love the small, little rituals, of every day.
Like doing my gym routine.
Or putting on a lot of candles, in the early morning, so i dont have to put on the Hard electrical lights..
Feeding my stray cat, if he is sitting, waiting on my little garden table, next to my kitchen window.

Putting on the kettle, doing all kind of other small morning rituals.
That makes me feel good & happy, centred, content.
A great start of my day.❤💋

(and, sometimes, i pretend, i am doing all this, because my master likes it that way...😚😍)
Living according to his rules... 🙏

Point to ponder..
Are habits, rituals... or rituals, habits?

Our rituals are our
habits, with soul.

I love little rituals, some are very similar to yours, Rosa... especially over the weekend when I am not going to the office early.. they give me structure, calm my mind, and thoughts, and help me focus...

ncommon
I dare to differ with you, on that
routines/ habits are like wiping your ** after visiting the little room
brushing your teeth, comb your hair, are in my eyes, routines, habits
You do them, almost without thinking about it.

Rituals are more special actions, doing with more dedication, with more purpose.
In my experience, that is.

likeithot,
see my answer on uncommon
i see habits as something else then routines.
rituals have more meaning for me, that is, when i am doing them.

habits are like checking the backdoor, frontdoor, windows before you go to bed, or go out.
brush your teeth, etc... all those almost semi automatic behaviour.

rider,
indeed, give focus, especially when you make a little prayer with it, for all the people you wish the best there is, in their lifes...
Or be thankfull for all the things happening in your life

rosa

Routines are nice and I am glad you like yours

I hate having to get out of my female sleeping attire but enjoy the rest of it
