Sea sick? Can you become sea sick, while climbing a tree? lol Yesterday, afternoon, i got a much taller ladder and put it together, the guy i lent it from, helped me put it up it was not heavy at all.. So, i secure the ladder, and start climbing when i was on the right height, so i can cut more branches i felt like i am at sea...? What was going on? I look around, see all kind of biig trees swaying around.... There was a little storm going on!! OOh, i can be soo smart! LOL So, i was getting a bit seesick, while standing on a high ladder, swaying with the movement of the tree! Cough, i finished the cutting and went to touch the ground again, whahahaha. Today, is saterday and i am lazy, going for a walk later on, doing some shopping and listen to my all time favorite radio show! Dont worry, i have a very caring, observant guiding angel. She is almost always around me, guiding me. |

Yes, think motion, sea sickness, (they are both motion)...I have experienced it myself up in trees with a strong wind... Enjoy the day!

I’m glad to read you have a guarding angel watching over you. Hopefully he/she is holding the ladder and keeping an eye on you at all times 👼🏼. I admire your determination and independence. It feels good to have a sense of accomplishment; not because we want to do things on our own, but because we can. Be safe!

blossom Thank you! It s also a challange for meself! By doing this on my own and in my own time and space. I dont work like crazy, all stressed out, on that tree The tree is not going anywere, so,i can take my time, working on it. Oh, i do secure the ladder! block it from slipping down. With my guarding angel on my shoulder! I just look, walk around the tree, to determine wich branches i want to cut down this time, to make more room, so i can climb higher in that tree, to cut down even more branches. And in the end, i will finish this tree! Cut the top out of it, and work my way back down again, all in due time Enjoying myself tremendously! Yes! because we can!

brandy I really appreciate your concern, i really do! I can manage just fine, doing this in my own way, in my own time. When i feel like it. It is freezing now, so you wont see me in that tree, now! And, when i think, i cant handle this on my own, anymore, i will ask for help, be asured.

fiercyfriday, I am soo focussed on that tree, there is no time and attention, to get vertigo. It is me and that tree and nothing else. I do use that Neti Poti to clean my sinuses, that works wonders. Use it on a regular basis.

I've given up climbing things and leave it to the professionals to do - far too many times having the ladder move at the wrong time !! D-J xx

davina Ooh, that must have been some frightening times! Scary!! I can understand that! I secure the ladder to the tree, and block the ladder with bricks.
