A very good New Year! To every one, on here. It was a lovely evening, with lots of great music from the Top 4000 radio show! Just reading a novel, i even drank two small glasses of wine did not really liked the taste, so i made tea instead,. I dont like the taste of alcohol anymore. Only when i opened the window, i was right in the middle of a warzone! It started about 16:00 Hour and kept going!! Terrible! All those people from Oucraine, and other war zones all over the world, coming here, to be safe! And are kicked right back in to their war trauma! i find that very disgusting, to want to have 3 - 8 seconds of 'Fun"..... So terrible egocentric behaviour! Withought even one thought about all those war survivals, trying to build an new life again...overhere..... And, then i did not even start about aLl the pets, farm animals, wild birds..... Just to want 2-8 seconds of 'FUN'? DISGUSTING! Totally out of proportion. All the people with injuries, losing an eye, hand, face? Is it worth that?? Not, in my eyes. I am all for professional fire works shows They are great and more safe, then those half drunken morrons, playing around with heavy artilliry... |

Where I live, the "amateur" fireworks are banned. Too many stupid people setting wildfires. So there is less noise each year, thankfully. May the new year bring you many blessings!

TheSubWithBrains, That is a very wise decision, i hope they will do that overhere in Europe too. Now you can buy that stuff in Germany, Belgium and set it on fire in your own back garden.... stupid, dangerous rules. Thank you, i wish you many blessings, too.

Over here they cancelled the fireworks display in a place called Scarborough because an Artic Walrus had decided to pay a visit to their harbour. He was all stretched out and chilling nicely. They didn't want to distress the Walrus, nicknamed Thor, so it was cancelled. Hope your 2023 is super fab Rosa x Life So Short, The Craft So Long To Learn
