To prep, or not to prep?

Slowly but steady, i am prepping on moving out!

I love the perspective of the move

Preparing all kind of stuff, like spare bike parts, the real nessecary tools, for on the road.

I bought a very old to do book, about bike maintance....
I had that same book, a very long time ago, i gave maintenance courses, to women, so they coulld be independent. from their husband or other men..
Could repair their own bikes.

If the weather is going to be just a bit better, then this, riight now,
I am going to buy a lot of tools to be able to prepare my bike, on the road, so to say...

A fresh, new adventure, is coming up... in due time...

This spring and summer i start my biking training, and are going to cook in "the wild"
(first in my own back garden) on my new Kelly Kettle..
to get the thing under controle... building a fire....

Some perspective, he?

We are called "Preppers" for moving back to the woods, building out own house, shop, and dungeon. Living off the grid with solar heat and electric, no bills to pay. Lived in a cabin at 9,500 feet, (2895 meters) one winter. We built our first house in the mountains, planted trees, canned food, stored food, lived off the grid 45 years ago. Had a mine shaft deep into the mountain through a hidden door in the basement. I used to run 17 miles 3 times a week though the forest to keep in shape, now I walk in my new forest.

May the wind always be to your back to speed you along the road. Being in the Netherlands hills won't b a problem when you start but as you venture further they, along with your stamina, will be increasing. I too plan to resume venturing further afield having been on my own now for almost 4 years but not as boldy as you, I'll be in a 25 year old VW camper van. good luck on your travels.

jenny,
The further away i go, from this frogcountry, the better the weather will be.

During the bike training, the weather does not matter much.. I cant stay home, cause of the weather, here, or i wont ever go out of the house!
