Hell of a ride! So, this was a dry day, no rain, only a strong west wind. I can handle that. So, i decided to go to this jewelry shop in this big university city. I placed an order there, to make some very nice collier, with all kind of semi precious stones... In the colours of the chakras. There are 8 main chakra colours. I decided, i want to take an other route. SO, i did! My god! i saw almost all little small places between my village and that big city. At a certain point, the route board all say; 14 kilometers.. it was like i was in some time loop, always 14 kiometer. I was going through all kind of very small places, and still it was 14 kilometers to that big city! I did not pay any attention on those board anymore. They try to mess with my mind!!  It was a lovely ride and at the same time a hell of a ride! It took forever, or so it felt.... Normally it takes about 1,5 hour to go to that city, now it took me 3 hours! Or maybe even more!! I was kaput!! But did recuperate rather fast... Got to that shop, there is a woman working there, she and i really do like each other, right from the start. It is nice to have such a contact. we tease each other, just fun. She wanted to make the collier all very lady like, very tender, fragile, i told her; dont, i will break it, I am a kind of a rough , rugged person, so make it as sturdy as you can, without letting it weigh like a brick! After that, we did get along very well. Did some other<b> shopping </font></b>to and treat myself on a ride back home in the train! Headwind on a straight piece or road, till i am home, is no fun. On the way, i heard and saw a flock of cranes, i love their sound!

It is funny how that sometimes happens, not often, but does. I was at a Blues club out in the country on an old dirt road above the city and I live below the city. There is a road that goes around the city I could use to get there. The show was good and when I left I got on the same road I came in on but after driving, I ended up in the city closer to the club than my house? Did not think so but I had to have turned off on another road. Went back another time and did not see any places to turn on. Life is good, funny at times

electros, I dont go through the Pyrenees, i go by them, there are, maybe, some hills, but no real mountains. I do understand what you say, about those tires. I know the difference, been on an racing bike, too This is just a regular city bike, nothing fancy. I have to think about it..... see what i can do..... Thank you for thinking with me, for my traveling....

likeithot. it sure is, i laughed and at the same time cursed, because it took me dubble time, to get there! I like a straight line, between here and there! LOL No winding roads please, not too much anyway...

Cranky, Thank you! Yes, i believe i am getting there, little by little. My endurance is already a bit higher... even if i rest more then a week, or so.. The bad weather season is coming, so i wont go on my bike in stormy weathers. Pick the good days to do some training.
