Today, Was again, such a lovely day. It started with rain, but i was oke with that, because i had to do a lot of work inside the house, first. In the afternoon, the sun came out to play and i played a bit in my garden, too   just messing around with giving some small herbs a better spot in the garden, making more room in the middle of my garden. Put some soil in the holes i made by digging out the elder and conifer... feed "my bees and wasps" some of my honey. There were a lot of bees, wasps too, enjoying the honey and i enjoyed seeing them eat, collect some food... As i do, in summertime, when wasps especially, come and take water out of my very little pond... and fly away with it, trying to keep their nests cool... I am happy to be of 'service' to those animals.  And, tomorrow i will get my stuff from the bushcraft shop! i am soo excited, !!! Just an other small step on the way to my traveling. |

Gardening is almost therapeutic... I love messing around with the pots on my balcony since I have no garden... and it does make me feel very relaxed... small steps are the most important ones, the way I see it... can't wait to see your new things, Rosa

Fleetingthoughts, it is indeed, today was a totally grey day! Terrible! S.A.D sucks!   Being depressed ánd deadly tired, just by doing nothing, is not good. But, maybe, just maybe there will be some sunshine the next days?? In Holland, you will never now!

drmgirl, Well, i have this ,mini pond in my garden, the bees and wasps come to drink there. And are still searching for flowers to eat from. Since all my flowerplants almost all died, already, i decided to give the bees (and wasps, too) some of my honey. Well they are very bissy eating from it! Everyday, when the temps are good, there is some sunshine, i put some honey on some stones and bricks, and the bees will come. Yesterday, i had about 14 something bees, all eating. and some wasps too.. As soon as i open the lid, they are all over the honey pot and also all over me... i am not afraid, talk to them. Just move very slowly and everything will be alrigt. I enjoy watching them, although i dont like the macho / testosterone behaviour of the wasps, attacking everything that comes near the honey.
