Yesterday, The day started horrible. Later on, the day became better and better. I went on my bike, through the woods, forest to this two little villages. Always such a joy to be in those forest on my bike They repaired the bike road, it is lovely now, no bumbs anymore lovely smooth path. Love it! It was rather nice weather, a bit cold, but riding my bike, i did not mind the cold. So visiting first this care farm with a little shop attached to it. It is always nice to visit them, talk with the women working there laughing and joking with each other. Then, on my bike again, to that other village, the bike path is really very nice. Although this second path is not that smooth at all. I was totally content, happy and singing on my bike, just because i could. Did my shopping there, it is soo nice, when the shopowners recognise you and ask about how you are. Just some social, small talk, so nice.... I always visit three or four shops there, do my routine. And on my way back, there was some thunder.... The Dutch way of thunder... i was first wondering, if there was some building or demolishing going on.... It was very short, no lighting at all.....  When i was already back home, the rain came on, full force! ALthough the day started horrible, later on, it was great, to be outdoors. On my way, i almost lost my cap, on this very bissy road.... the wind blew it right of my head, thank the goddesses, i could collect it, before some truck was riding it to bits. My adventures on a regular day of the week....

I am very happy, with every day, the weather is somehow a bit nice, calm. Not too cold, too.

It sounds like you had a great day! I am mucking out my chicken coop. I put compost down in the coop then give them a bale of hay which thy spread around, it all mixes and I put it in my garden to age. but today I am adding leaves as well. These too will serve my garden well, and give the chickens something different to comb through for bugs. I am glad the rain held off for you until you got home... that in itself, makes for a better day!

Thanks for sharing your adventure, Rosa, I love hearing your stories and am intrigued by your penchant for bicycles, think it's wonderful that there are paths like those for you to travel from village to village!!!

likeithot. Aah, that is a job i would love to do, mucking out the chicken coop. it is a great furtilizer for your garden. The chicken must be very thankful for all that hay to play around in. I am going to collect some animal dung, to put on my garden,soon. Collect it from a small animal farm, with all kind of small lifestock. Yes, indeed, it was.

BillywildMartin, Thank you, I love that, too... although some parts are rather dangerous, because in the middle of one of the villages is a very big road, with all kind of heavy trafic. No special bike paths, so, i alway am very aware of where i am, and what is coming up behind me and in front of me. full alert!
