Wet, wet, wet,

My gosh!
It was terrible.
It is already raining for days now,
this saterday, it just started as a very light drizzle.....
And from there on, it only got worst!!

I was doing my luxery round of shoppings,
as i do sometimes, to those small villages.

I was wearing three! kind of raincoats.
A small windcoat, and then a long rain coat, over that.
Both were wet, on the inside too.

Then i put on my Army rain poncho,
That was really a very good move.
But, still, sooo cold.

My gosh!!
I was sooo cold, on my way back, soo cold!!
The whole freaking day rain.
I did not get warm, untill the next day!!
Ginger tea, honey, nothing helped, getting warm again..

( when i was still drinking, i just drank, untill i got warm again...)
not really very healthy.

I soo much, do not like this climate, this weather.

Sorry for the rain rosaenaluin. Glad you finally got the poncho on. Now get everything off and dry off with warm thoughts of why you were out there in the first place. I dare say you'll cherish your friendship even more knowing what you went through......for them.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Viking,
A very merry Christmas to you, too.
That poncho saved me from drowning in that rain! LOL

It is always, for them, that motivates me, to go that extra mile...

You KNOW you're cold when you come in out of the bad weather and can't seem to warm up, once inside, no matter what you do! And when you are cold AND WET, well, the cold is just multiplied by the wet soggy feeling, even after you've dried out...personally, Rosa, I think you need someone to snuggle up with under a blanket or a quilt the help get your body temperature back to where you FEEL warmer, or HOT! I volunteer!!! LOL! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Rosa! and try to stay dry, it might take me a while to get there

The weather has been somewhat unusual - I suspect whatever Europe gets comes to the UK a few days later , so better prepare my wet weather clothes.

We're currently having strong cold winds , so getting a few miles of walking today in daylight while it is still reasonable.

Hope you've kept warm and not contracted flu or anything.

D-J xx

davina,
Hello!
Yes, that or the other way around, the storm winds first come to England and then cross the sea and we get hit, too...
No, i am alright, no flu.Thank you, i hope you keep healthy, too?

We have had a hell of a lot of rain and it is still raining, there is some concern about the dikes by the big canals in Holland, Germany has his problems with too much water, rain, too...And that will come into Holland, too....

Just cold... and tired.. due to lack of sunshine, as is the case with SAD.....Seasonal Affective Disorder...
