Why be a premium member if they have already taken one function away.

That function is the ability to contact standard members. I was a gold member under a different name a few years ago and when I tried to cancel they kept dinging my credit card for months after. When I wrote to them about it the response I got was that I checked a box when I started that meant I chose to keep it ongoing. No matter what box I originally checked I told them I wanted to cancel. They did refund part of money but kept the month after I cancelled anyway. So if they are gonna be that way they will never get another damn dime from me. Now I am starting to wonder, why even be here at all. I get emails but cannot read them.

seems ALT is going to hell having all kinds of issues .. not sure I will stay on

i joined a few weeks ago. i turned off my account temporarily and tried to log in and alt said they could not find my account. i have all the emails from them and i still could not get in. i had to rejoin and now it does not recognize my emails. i met my Daddy last week. He is trying to help me. alt does not recognize credit cards i have heard. You are not the first to have problem. There are many. My Daddy gave me permission to write this.

You can always set up a private blog space to send and recite message. And the bloggers as a rule are a pretty good group of folks. And, why be overwhelmed with tons of e mails from jerks anyway.
