Happy 2017 to all those Alt Lifers out there Well Happy New Year and welcome 2017. I love New years. I think it is always about the chance to start over and have a better year than the previous one. The born again virgin thing lives at New Year. So this year, I was bereft of alcohol. For those who keep up with my blog, I got really sick 6 weeks ago and have been restricted on what i could drink or eat for the past few weeks. So no alcohol. I believe this is the first new years in a decade I remember the ball dropping. i was home in Florida and hooked up with my HS girl squad and went and partied and I, me, moi, the non drinker became the designated driver. 5 in the car when we left means i had to collect 5 to go home. Getting the 5 home was a pain in the ass and a learning experience. 2 were passed out drunk. Glad it wasn't my car because i am not cleaning that mess up. 2 hooked up and then showed up with bed hair and some visible stains on their blouses. So it left me one party pal to track down. She was not answering her phone. She was not were we all agreed we would rally back too. I was getting concerned. As it turned out, she was still dancing among 100 party goers and lost track of time and her shoes and her purse. She was completely high on red bull and vodka. Well i have tried that it is not anything i would drink. Apparently she had 5 or 6 and now was completely crazed dancing girl After finding her, we left to head home at 4 am. Mind you a few weeks ago staying awake 8 hours was a chore. I have been awake 20 hours and my body is fading. So on our return drive on the Courtney Campbell Causeway at 4 am, i was stopped 3 times by the highway patrol, and local police. They all laughed and sent me on my way telling me to be careful. Kaylee, the Red Bull girl, decides it would be a great idea, to take her dress off and stand through the sun roof topless the rest of the way home. So i said there was a lesson here and it was i am never doing that again. I am usually the one who is<b> intoxicated </font></b>and without panties being drug home by an over protective girl friend. Oh yes, on another note, one of the completely passed out drunk girls got engaged earlier in the day and completed ditched her freshly minted groom. C'est la vie. Happy new year everyone. |

At least you didn't have to nurse a massive hangover. Hope you are in full health now.

sounds like you had a very interesting evening, or should I say morning.  Hope your health has vastly improved and enjoy the new year.

If I am going to a party, I will arrange taxi or a ride. Three drinks and I am toast. So I play it careful. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

The up side to that story is that being sober you can remember that story. Otherwise, not much upside.
