This image commanded me to look today
Journal: This is a repost of an image that commanded me to look when I was just starting this blog six year ago. I didn't realize until after I had posted yesterday's image that the image from six years ago is a rendering of yesterday's photo. The image six years ago did not come to my mind when I saw the photo, but something about the photo was too familiar so I later searched my posts and discovered the one from six years ago. Situations like this are the goal of my "Command to Look" blog and efforts; trying to let my mind naturally select what it is attracted to so I know "me" better. Knowing myself better, I can then filter out that which I'm not attracted to when offered an internet's worth of beautiful images to look through -- too many to do in anyone's lifetime. Thus, I strive for getting the most from the little time I have.

Who painted today's image is still unknown to me as it was six years ago -- so too the photographer of the original image.

 The painter did not capture the aura of her look that she has in the photo. The painter got the body right something about the mouth is wrong. in my opinion.

I think I see what you mean but not sure it was intentional or not. Interesting observation.
