You have no idea how much fun voting can be if you haven't voted in Virginia. To make the day really special, I spent all afternoon and evening Tuesday with my favorite girl.

All the seem to have moved out of our neighborhood, so there's not much point being home for Halloween. I tried to think of something creepy to do instead of handing out candy to the few who show up. The best thing I could come up with was to buy tickets to see The Book of Mormon tonight.

Belle de Jour 5

The chapters keep rolling off the presses. Part 5 is now up in the Erotic Stories section of the magazine, though it may take a while for the alt. folks to approve it. I still can't get kitten out of her office building and off to the opulent rural estate where I expect the real fun to begin. Too many delicious, sexually humiliating and erotically stimulating opportunities lurking in the bustling daytime environs or echoing, empty after-hours corridors of her office building. What can I say? I love an erotic humiliating mind fuck. Once a woman surrenders her mind, her pussy is just a matter of time, providing she's not already in love, and sometimes even when she is. I'll post a link here Belle de Jour 5 once the story comes up.
Meanwhile, I'm still looking for more reaction from my kittens to the direction I'm taking kitten's story in, and the erotic devices I'm using to do it. As is apparent, I am something of an erotic humiliation junkie. just love to bring a woman to her knees, both mentally and physically. Not sure how well I'm doing it in this story, and what the reaction is from my female readers. Would like to get your views.
Let me know what you think. Is this a turn on, or should I go back to my day job?

Earth Day

She came by to pick up her souvenir, and we went out hunting for morel mushrooms on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains, about 2,000 feet from my property line. Found a ton of them. Feasted afterward. Sauteed mushrooms in butter and garlic sauce. A delightful faux-phallic fest. Topped it off with the mandatory hot tub ritual, with a bottle of remarkably fine and inexpensive California merlot (neither of us cares for white wine). The woods were fresh and clean after days of heavy rain, and the afternoon was rich with the pleasure of the company of the most erotically pleasing woman I know.
The perfect Earth Day celebration.

While I was waiting for some bucks to come by so I could get some photographs, a small herd of deer wandered across the grassy area between the cabin and my lake. They browsed on the shrubbery on the dam, helping trim these unwanted saplings that I will just have to cut down anyhow, to keep their roots from weakening the dam. Then they ate their way down the full length of the dam, disappearing from sight into the brilliant fall colors of the undergrowth along the lake-shore, only to reappear at the steam mouth, where they proceeded to resume their tree trimming and cavorted in the clear waters of my spring-fed brook.

Two Whitetail Bucks

More stuff happens when I just sit at my window typing on my laptop. First it was the pissed-off hummingbird, now it's two young whitetail bucks, one after the other, that just walked across my view between my cabin and my lake, maybe thirty feet in front of where I'm sitting. I got a photograph of the first one, but the second one didn't stick around long enough for me to get to my camera. I'll post it as soon as I get a chance to download it. The rack on the one I photographed was small, only 2 points on a side. Impressive shoulder muscular development.
I need to fix some breakfast. Wonder what I'll miss while I'm doing that?

What Are You Reading?

I haven’t posted one of these lists for quite a while. I find that my reading choices have changed since the new year started. I suspect yours have too. I imagine we could have quite a conversation about why that is, but that’s not what this post is about. Instead it is about what kind of community we have here on Alt. What kind of people are we when we’re not here? I suspect that our lists, incomplete though they may be as portraits of who we are, may make us more transparent and possibly even open up new acquaintances.
Anyhow here’s my list since late February. What’s yours?

In The Heights... Don't Miss It

If you want to totally lose the covid aftermath blues, run, don't walk, to your nearest movie theater and see a magnificent worthy cinematic successor to Lin Manuel Miranda's Broadway blockbuster: Hamilton. The homage In The Heights pays to the golden years of Hollywood dance extravaganzas is unbelievable. Director Jon Chu pokes fun at Esther Williams' synchronized swimming flicks in a hilarious amazingly creative segment. Even Fred Astaire's dancing on the ceiling is outdone in this film.
But I don't want to spoil the fun for you. See it for yourself. The music will lift you out of your seat and send you dancing down the aisles.

The trouble with mud wrestling with a pig is you both get filthy, but the pig loves it.
So what I do when I get tired of all the political bullshit is to save up my annoyance for a month and then on the last day of the month, when my contribution is triple matched, send a to my very favorite chick: Stacey Abrams.
Yes boys and girls, there is a goddess, and she kicks ass royally. Her mission right now is to organize all of the citizens that politicians who fear voters want to disenfranchise and make sure they get to vote on election day. She's gonna take their election-rigging tricks and shove them right down their throats.
Today only, Stacey's offering a special. For every dollar you send her, she'll get one of her deeper-pocketed donors to match you with three dollars, so for a $25 dollar contribution you really give her $100.
Give it a try. It's great stress relief, and it really pisses off the right people or the right wrong people.

Second shot --- I didn't actually lie.

As I reported in my last post, I did feel fine hours after my second covid shot. Unfortunately, the next twenty hours were a microcosm of hell. I didn't actually want to die, but I was far from caring. lol From my experience, I suppose your reaction to the second shot depends on what physical limitations you customarily deal with. I don't get headaches, and while headaches are common reactions to the second shot, I didn't experience any. I do have problems with joint and muscle pain, and I got those in spades. I have had infrequent balance issues, which I thought I had successfully conquered. Those showed up in spades as well. I was fastening on to every piece of furniture and doorknob between my bed and the bathroom to keep from falling to the floor. Not having to crawl was a small triumph. Aside from my three trips to the bathroom, I stayed in bed, dreaming in my few lucid moments about things I haven't thought about in ages and at the moment can't recall.
So, for those of you who experienced no ill effects from the second shot, my heartiest congratulations. I actually went out for my customary 2-mile quick-march shortly after getting the shot, which in retrospect may have been an unnecessary display of hubris. My hip joints started complaining after the first mile. For those who haven't had your second shot yet. I recommend you not plan any activities for the succeeding 48hours. You may not be in any condition to cancel them. I missed a zoom conference call the next day and couldn't have cared less. I'm looking out my window at the bright sunshine and am still hesitant about trying another 2-miler, but I think i'll do it anyhow. Science wants to know.
