There are days when it feels as if anyone and everyone is going to take for granted every single thing someone else does for them, like a bank with a never ending over draft yet instead of money it's another person's capabilities and skills.
Teaching cost effective methods to others, showing them the easiest and quickest ways to get something done, showing them how to do something correctly or how to sort out their own mistakes is a thankless job, never are the ones who under take this task given proper thanks and due course, no, instead they are given the bare minimum and expected to thrive on that and that alone, to accomplish everything they normally would but without the support they usually have.
There is no way to second guess what's going through someone else's mind, if at first there is no success then failure is the only alternative, people's minds change so quickly that there isn't room for processing of facts and figures to result in a reasonable conclusion, the human brain is an impulse centric control centre with very little spare of anything to go around despite how vacant it's owner might appear.
Duty to self must come before duty to others, there is little point in treating ones neighbour better than one treats oneself as that path leads to nothing but distress, resentment and frustration when the personality inside the mind comes to realise that they have been taken advantage of - Once this little fact enters the mind of a human being it is forever played over and over again, until the brain has fused it to the very core of understanding, until there is no distinction between the events that have happened and events that may try happen, all routes that could lead to the same conclusion are regarded and disregarded just as quickly.
Assuming that one person is gong to be forever reliable is very much the eggs and basket of human relationships, a constant risk that they must take in order to actually fulfil the human need of socialisation, companionship and lead a life that doesn't lack but it's also the easiest way to have something precious broken, a part that is fragile in all humans regardless of social status, cultural commandments or psychological history and there's nothing anyone can do to stop exposing this part of themselves.

It feels as if there's no fixed direction in life, as if North, South, East and West don't exist, like there's nothing at all that can help with what direction someone's supposed to go in to get to a stable and fixed point on the map - There's nothing to even indicate in what direction lies danger, there's nothing to say that one direction is quicker than another or that one direction is harder than another, there is simply nothing.
A wasteland of sorts, nothing to express any sort of validation or justification of type, nothing to ease the worries circling like vultures over carrion, nothing to persuade fears to retreat back into the depths that they spawned from, nothing to chase away the darkness that starts to erode away at the very essence of someone's being and nothing to comfort, nothing to show a kindness in the depths of being lost - There's nothing to show the softer side of existence either, nothing to show the warmth of being, the light of knowing and the comfort of loving, there are no embraces which make the world right again, no kisses that fill up the soul with warmth and there are no touches, either small and subtle to reassure someone, tactile at the right instance to change the direction of the mood, no touch to snap away the darkness and no touch to chase away the tears.
There is an empty vat of nothingness, neither good nor evil, dark nor light, up nor down, there is nothing except the sensation of slowly bobbing through the waves of life, nothing to see, nothing to do, nothing to witness and nothing to direct the attention of a sentient being away from internalised character evaluation.
Pondering time and time again on all of the factors that make up a person, their character, their flaws, their strengths, their weaknesses, their likes, their dislikes, their intelligence, their knowledge, their looks, their sounds or their taste, there is infinite time to monologue the entirety of a human being and list, rank and judge them over their worth yet the futility remains the same, nothing will come of it, it's merely another exercise in time wastage.
That's all it is and all it'll ever be, an exercise in how to waste time more effectively than others so the mundane facts of life don't erode away at what's left of a sentient beings consciousness and reduce them to nothing more than apathetic sacks of bone and gristle.

No two human beings are the same, twins, triplets, quadruplets, doppelgangers, they may appear similar and they may have been split from the same egg but they will never be the same, there will always be ways to tell people apart no matter how convincing their aesthetics may be.
People don't even remain the same from day to day, expecting someone to remain the same after months or even years is a fantasy that only the concerned party is living in, human beings change so frequently that there is no point in trying to hammer home the ever present cliche of old dogs and new tricks, not only is it factually incorrect but human beings are more like bacteria that mammals and treating them as something sentient rather than pervasive and destructive is beginners error.
There will always be people who have no idea how they come across to others, either through an oblivious nature or a habitual apathy, both honed over years of having to experience the positive and the negative reactionary experiences when interacting with others - An obliviously natured person will smile and laugh, a shake of the head or a shrug of the shoulders their version of responding to critique or intrigue, their ability to let all words, reactions or actions wash over them without paying attention a skill that keeps that person a balanced individual, the person who habitually goes towards apathy may indeed appear similar to the obliviously natured but this person has experienced, remembered and made vows to protect themselves from toxic situations and people's, a general apathetic attitude is developed over years of harsh and constant criticism of character to the point where breaking would equate to losing the war.
Character assassination is a common theme in interactions between human beings, one person always has an idea of how another should behave and this concept simply multiplies exponentially until the two infamous groups form, the minority and the majority, the latter having strong opinions on what every thing in the world should be if it is to be considered correct, what a woman should be, what a man should be, what a relationship should be, what a woman should look like, what a man should look like etc etc etc
However, everything they know, everything they base their foundation of correctness on, comes from what isn't right - What a woman shouldn't look like directly influences what a woman should look like, what a man shouldn't say directly influences what a man should say, what a relationship should look like directly influences what a relationship shouldn't look like, not one piece of these people's society is based in positivity, it's all negative, its all reactionary and every single aspect involves denying and destroying individuality at every turn.
People are who they are, the way they talk, the way they walk, the way they dress, the way they eat, the way they live is their choice and not another single entity on this planet should have the influence to change this - Telling someone that they are wrong in a key aspect of themselves is beyond rude, making it seem like this aspect of themselves is negative is cruel and bringing it up time after time just shows the inflexibility at the core of the accuser.
If an aspect of someone annoys or frustrates then stop, consider what part is annoying or frustrated and then think, take a long look inside and see what action exactly set them off and alter behaviour accordingly to prevent further misunderstanding - It doesn't take a genius and it doesn't take a million years, it's simple effective and the decent thing to do.

Sometimes things can creep up on a person, it could be chores, it could be work, it could be looking after themselves or it could simply be the paths that they choose to go down - Sometimes things happen to a person completely out of the blue, there's no warning, no chance to prepare, no option to change course and no way they can stop what's happening to them.
Whatever the option the fact that they happened at all is something every person needs to learn how to deal with, there's little to no point in wasting time deliberating between this and that when the outcome remains the same, nothing will change that outcome and nothing will prevent that outcome from occurring, it simply in the course that that person has to be on.
Sometimes the gradual changes are the hardest to deal with for people, the slow deterioration of a professional career, the stagnation of a marriage, a decline in their health, small percentile debt accumulation, whatever it is it slowly encroaches on the person's consciousness until it becomes all consuming and the ability to resume normal everyday living is thrown into question - Soon options that before seemed drastic or extreme seem to appear plausible, moderate and doable, they provide respite for those who's very essence is under threat from being utterly consumed until who they are is completely swept away.
Others believe the fast changes are impossible for someone to contend with, being able to survive being swept away completely at a moment's notice without stalling is a reaction that many find unlikely for humans to bare, whether it's a sudden death, being fired, a lover leaving without a word, given the choice some believe that the slower way of losing something is the easiest way to cope, but having been swept away instantaneously gives one blessing and prevents long term erosion of someone's core - The ability to rationalise what's happening in a split second and be able to counteract the effects being imposed is a rare skill in human beings, one that few if any have acquired over their lifetimes so the belief that some would be able to prevent destruction is undeniably implausible.
It doesn't matter which one chooses to affect a human, the human will remain afterwards, like cockroaches scurrying through sewers human beings will continue to scratch out an existence despite what happens to them, contemplating their position within the world is nothing new or extraordinary and it never will be.
Human beings spend their loves being swept one way and then swept another, there's no way one individual human could break these biological, psychological and emotional tributaries of living, many claim they can and have but reality begs to differ with human civilisation for justification, when the going gets tough, the majority get going, those left behind are like so for a reason.
To be left behind or cast away by loved ones, family, work or society is to experience what the mind goes through every minute of every day, only this time the entirety of the person feels it, mind, body and soul.

A substitute for those intolerant to the standard, for those who choose to have a different approach than the mainstream, for those who wish to try something new, these alternatives are always marked through the streets with promises of life changing results yet they are simple substitutions, not life altering, not magical, nothing really out of the ordinary.
Choices are everything to human beings, the concept of free will is intrinsic to the foundation of every culture that has existed, that still exists and those that are to come - When the inevitable happens to current cultures, when stagnation leads to reclassification into a mythology some meanings and lessons will transcend time, space and language, free will being the most often found will be repeated yet again even if technology takes human beings one step closer to some supposed advancement, free will win always stay at the core of scientific research.
To deny that human beings have a preposition towards elevating their own self worth would be an understatement, human beings spend half their lives trying to better themselves, molding themselves into some parody of perfection that they believe will answer all of their questions and make their lives better in every way they can imagine - Days, months and years are wasted trying to achieve a state of being, the right aesthetic, the correct career and other vacuous life markers that they have been made to believe will enhance everything, perpetuating the lies that humans can have it all.
Human beings cannot have it all, choices have consequences, consequences that impact every single part of their lives whether intentionally or unintentionally this can't be escaped, denying this only compounds frustrations leading to confusion, jealously and eventually self hatred - Why can't, why don't, why won't, how come, life becomes bogged down in these endless questions with absolutely no useful answers, nothing will provide the answer they seek, snake oil salesmen will offer them pills, potions and lotions with the promise that it will alter the grey fabric of the universe as they know it, but, at the end of the day it's meaningless lies.
The best a human being can hope for is to make the right decision for themselves, not for their loved ones, not for their family, not for their friends, but to make the decision that is right for them and them alone - It might not be the easiest decision to make, it might be the hardest decision they've ever had to make but if they make it for their own benefit then at least they are giving themselves a chance, they aren't living by proxy through another, they aren't wishing what could have been and regretting what might have been, they've made their decision and the consequences are theirs alone to bare.
