So, my first entry to my first blog on this site. Well I suppose I should Start this off with something witty...ok how is this: Friends are family...without the guilt.

Or my Favorite line from one of my favorite movies: "I would rather endure any biblical hell then to live a life of inconsequence." That is from Dangerous Beauty...and it pretty well sums up what I have been feeling lately.

Is this all there is? You work, come home eat dinner, go to bed get up and start it all over again? Where is the danger? (ok I do take the bus into town so there is some danger in that.) But where is the danger...the intrigue?

As I get older, my sense of adventure is getting stronger...Should it not be the other way around? Maybe I am feeling my mortality and want to suck dry the marrow from the bones of life before I am truely to old to enjoy it....
