hello friends,
i just want to highlight the way i have been treated by alt today, or should i say "mistreated", as a warning to all, especially those i know who pay membership.
i sent an email off today to someone who will remain nameless (to protect me), and it was merely criticising his use of 6 cock shots on his profile almost all the same with no other pics. i simply suggested he drop at least 5 of them to do himself justice. there was no swearing, no abuse.
i received a very abusive email back telling me to f*** off etc.
naturally i reacted and gave him an opinion re his brainpower etc but still did not swear.
he wrote back and said he had reported me for abuse etc.
in defence i also reported him for abuse and contacted alt by email explaining why.
without warning my account (and i am a "gold" member, he was a "standard, unpaid" member) was deactivated and i was sent a private email from Alt saying if i didn't return an email saying i accepted their "terms of Use" in the future which includes abuse, my account would be cancelled without warning and it would also be if i transgressed again!!!
do you believe this? no chance to defend myself, no chance to explain circumstance....just found guilty!!!!
my point being folks...alt is showing they don't rate paid members or value their membership. warning is.... your paid membership is very fragile (despite being a substantial amount) and can be cancelled by alt without notice and without just cause. just what "they" believe is a right decision.
as i have indicated to alt by email, this little episode will definitely have an effect when i consider renewal of my gold membership in a few days time.
it's very concerning that one email from a standard member who had an abusive nature anyway, can result in one's paid membership being cancelled on the spot, without a chance to defend oneself!

trouble viewing pics on profiles

hi everyone,
is anyone else who is a paid member experiencing problems viewing pics on profiles since they changed the set out of the profiles?????
i am finding whenever i try to view pics on profiles i am not allowed to see anything but the main pic and if i click on view all lics i get sent to my profile!!
also the "make pic larger" id not working.
finally i am getting a series of messages at the top of the alt page of about 4 lines...saying "no path" etc.
anyone got anything to offer?? (i've already advised alt and have got the old "it's been referred to our I.T. section for review, crap)
would appreciate word from anyone also experiencing problems.

what is it about some guys?
as soon as one views a profile these days, more often than not it produces an email like "i see you viewed my profile...you wanna hook up?"
lol...why do we pay pay gold membership? so we can view profiles and initiate emails. we view profiles for a host of reasons...maybe an interesting handle, possibility of a common interest, maybe the experience we are looking for, maybe someone/cple suitable for one of our bdsm evenings/sessions we organise, just a good ol' perve, or probably most common reason....no reason at all!! lol

i find it interesting and ponderous that so many "Dom/mes" on here find it necessary to lie/exaggerate about their experience level.
i know we all tend to it some walk of life, such as to embellish on a story or perhaps score a few more points on our CV's. but honestly....the number of Dom/mes who put all sorts of things on their profiles and then you discover when you chat with them, (or god forbid meet them) that they have little or no experience what they say they do!! sheesh!!
is it an acceptance thing? an ego thing?? is it just fantasy??
i mean, duhh...they don't think they'll get found out?
personally, i'd rather someone just be honest and up front about it, so you know they are genuine.
also i find it amusing how many people Master and i get contacted by, with comments like "oh, i thought you might like to train me?" lol...it's like sure....i'm happy for you to be a lazy bastard and just allow us to impart the knowledge and experience we've taken years to build...and you just sit back on your lazy arse and do and contribute nothing.... lol

well another post.. just me being a little contemplative on my weight at the moment, it seems i have put on a bit and am getting a little tubby..
would love to hear of any diets that actually work, so i can get back to my slim self as i was many moons ago, because i work nights am finding it hard to lose the weight *sigh again*
not that tubby is bad, just not what i want for myself at the moment, so if anyone has any hints or advice feel free to post

UBER whip workshop

Well... wasn't that all fun and interesting, going to the whip workshop at UBER was really good.
After, meeting up with some lovely friends from online in the cloak room and munching on the yummy choc biscuits with a nice coffee, W/we were all ready to go and learn more about one of O/our favourite BDSM tools ... (well indeed mine that is hehe)
After a quick introduction, there was a good display of throwing the whip and receiving it followed by some other topics such as how to throw a whip, range, types of whips.. am soo liking the nylon whip.. cleaning, safety and so on.. was a great occasion for those who hadn't known much about the whip, to learn more, and on a personal level, it was good to refresh on the things W/we knew, and learn some other things along the way.

wow...just realised it's months since i blogged!!

Is it just me?
quite often when it is a bit slow i log onto alt i.m.
more often than not i am confronted by cock shots popping up, preceding conversation. then i usually receive an array of inane comments/questions like the following:-
*hey, how yer doin' *
*how's your day been then*
*so what exciting things have you done today*
*so you been naughty today*
*has your Sir punished you today*
etc, etc, etc, etc
i mean please....is this the best that can be done?
has the art of conversation sunk so low?

i was wondering today why some people create an identity online and insist on misrespresenting themselves, and telling lies etc.
i mean, the advantages seem far outweighed by the many disadvanteges.
i can see, as some people point out, this maybe the persons way of fantasising what they can't do in real life, and that some use it as a way to ease themselves into the lifestyle and find their level etc.
but why not tell the truth though. i mean in cyber, one has anonymity anyway. but at least by telling the truth, apart from the obvious of "to thine self be true", at least if they do meet someone that is nice, they have the honest foundation to "go further with them".
let's face it, most of us that find we have been lied to by cyber trolls etc, are not going to give them the time of day. but if people have been honest, and there's a click, then it could be the start of something big? at least you are giving yourself the chance?
for those that it is simply a fantasy and have no intention of taking it to a real outcome, surely it is still a better fantasy if one is throwing their "real" selves into it?
sorry.....i just don't get it...???
