I can't wait for this week to pass; it will mean all those damned political ads will stop playing! Around here, the candidates are either pro-choice or law-and-order. Come on, those are the only issues you guys can come up?

I wish there were a couple of selections on the ballot, but will probably never get there: "None of the above", and some kind of "Vote against so-and-so", as opposed to a vote for a candidate.

We need more political parties, not just "pick one from column A" or "pick one from column B". Now, I know what you're saying - if we had more parties in power, we'd be all fractured, and nothing would get done. As opposed to what's happening now?

Just my ten cents (formerly two cents, but due to inflationary pressures...)

Well, it happened again. In the past 2 or 3 weeks, a couple of people I was in contact with, >poof<! their accounts are deactivated. I'm positive that neither of these people were scammers, as the one individual had been a member of Alt for quite some time.

So I'm wondering, does this happen to you?

For those who watch "Dark Winds" and "Domina", have you noticed how similar the theme music is? The same seems to be true for the movie "The King's Speech" - there is a scene in that movie, where the background music reminds me of some of the background music to the original "Rocky" movie.

Just sayin'.

Did anyone catch Dr. Ashton on TV this morning? She looked so hot - wearing her over the knee white boots and black dress. I'm just so surprised that she's wearing boots at this time of year, and without anyone making any snide remarks about it.

She'll probably be on the afternoon GMA show at 1 p.m. (Eastern time). I wonder if she'll change her outfit for that show.

The nice thing is, she wears boots quite a bit, so it's always a treat to check her out in the morning!
