Chat room attendance is almost nothing

I just logged on and saw that there were eight people in the Lobby Room, three in the Steel Room, four in the Gender Exchange room, and ZERO in all the other rooms. I remember years back when there were a lot of people in many rooms at any time of the day. So sad to see how this site has fallen.

Now that the Lobby, the Gallery, and the other main chat rooms are gone, it is getting harder to communicate with other people here. I now get about ten women looking at my profile every day, but I strongly suspect that over 90% of them are fake profiles created to look like there are more people using this website than there really are. Twitter is going through this same problem. As a standard member, I cannot read or reply to messages sent to me, and I have a hard time believing that real live gold members here do not know that any messages they send me cannot be read or replied to.
The Instant Messenger system is ridiculous. It costs both me and the other person ten points for any message that we send or reply to. And I get charged ten points even if my message never gets a reply or if it even gets delivered. Any thoughts or comments from anyone else?

Two days ago I ran across a profile the Home Page where someone posted the following message: FAKE ALERT !!!
SCAMMER WARNING !!!
PICS AND 2 VIDS STOLEN !!!
CHECK PORNSTAR MS. LENINA CROWNE ( UK ) AT INSTAGRAM, TWITTER ETC. !!!
DAMN IMPORTANT: MAXIMUM REPORT ABUSE !!!
I followed that with my own comment: Why do so many of you guys get excited over a fake profile? Are you really that pathetic and desperate?
After I posted my comment, there were eight comments afterwards: Big boob girl lovely ; very nice ! ; sexxy ; interesting...! ; mmmm ; she knows what she wants ; nice ; and finally, love the out fit...
Now, if you are one of the eight guys who wrote any of those comments, I have a question for you. When you have been warned that this is a fake profile, why do you write comments like these? Seriously, I would really like know why.

A question about scammers

On Alt's Home Page, when you scroll down, you will see a number of profiles that are listed, along with comments from other members, such as myself. When one of these profiles is found out to be a fake, several people, including myself, will post a warning, letting others know that this is a scammer, often using someone else's pictures for their profile. I frequently see a lot of men making favorable comments AFTER they have been warned that this is a scammer and a fake profile. It's the usual meaningless crap: "I love you", "I want to worship you", blah blah blah.
My question is, do these guys want to be scammed, and lose money and get hit with identity theft? Or do they know that they are replying to a fake, but since they're living in a make believe daydream world, is this just mindless entertainment for them? Am I one of the few people left on Alt who actually wants to get to know and meet real live people? Are the majority of the people currently on Alt just competing in one big horseshit contest, to see who is the biggest lying phony daydreamer? I would actually like to hear some answers.
