It's driving me CRAZY!!!!!
Every time i log in and see i have mail, i get a little frission of excitement thinking...oooooo, maybe this time!! But it usually ends up being some wing nut (no offense  ) that i reply respectfully to, but have no interest in corresponding with. i stop by His profile every day, and drool over it...and he doesn't even have a picture posted..*L* it just speaks to me. *sigh* Ok, well it has only been a coupla days. OMG am i stalking Him?!?!? *L* i don't think it's gotten quite that bad yet. Ok, ok deep calming breath, in through the nose......out through the mouth. i am going to be like the little salmon fishy and just goooooo with the flow.
Ok....ummm, thats not working for me.

Death of a Champion

As i am sure most of Y/you have heard by now, Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro was euthanised yesterday. i cried when i heard the news. After a valiant 8 month fight, this beautiful colt was judged to be suffering and humanely put down. i can only imagine the sadness of his owners, trainers, caregivers and all who knew him. He inspired an out pouring of love and support that hasn't been seen in quite some time.
i wonder though, what is it about these noble beasts, or just animals in general that touches U/us so. i find it ironic and rather sad/scary, that i glance over news of the war...people killed every day, and it barely touches me, and yet the death of a simple, gallant, beautiful , brings tears to my eyes.
i know that he runs free now, strong and elegant, feeling no pain, prancing with all his equine friends, nickering at the pretty lil fillies and eating sweet feed. The heart and soul of a Champion is always joy to behold, so for his brief time here i thank him, for the heart and character he showed, i thank him, and for reminding me that Heaven is where the horses are, i thank him.

i would never, ever want to be a Man. To me, having an X chromosome, *L* or two, is just sublimely delicious. For a myriad of reasons. Not of course, limited, in any way, shape or form to the one's below.
*the sexy clothes, i mean, c'mon!!! From silky blouses, sheer lil shirts, skirts AND the freedom to wear pants. O/our wardrobes can rock.

*laughs* i can't believe it's been well over a week since i've last posted *BIG GROUP HUG* i've missed Y/you guys. i am now sooooo very far behind, but i shall endeavour to reply to my comments and return e-mails as quickly as i can. Is it possible to have an over-flowing e-mail box? Hmmmmmmm. Anyhoo...so i take a look at my watched blogs list....and some of Y/you fuckers have blogged like 25 times...TWENTY-FIVE!!!!!! what the hell is up with THAT? How, where and when do Y/you find the time? One of my New Years resolutions, is to try and blog 3 times a week!!!
Now that the house is cleaned, the presents have been bought, the perfect tree cut down and decorated to Martha Stewart perfection, the cookies baked, the innumerable Christmas cards sent, i THINK i can finally take a moment and catch back up. So...what's been going on? What have i missed? Any fun and or exciting news? Do tell, do tell. And did i hear something about a blog party? *perks up* It's been AGES since W/we had one of those. Ok, so i'm going to check things out, and i say, if i don't find one happening, i'm going to start one here!!!

A/all of these men are smart, and funny..T/they make me laugh, T/they make me wet, T/they make me want, and T/they make me wait. T/they offer sage advice, even when i don't want to hear it. T/they take me on magical trips with T/their prose. i would love to share drink and more, hehehe, with A/all of T/them. As i travel down this path.....it is interesting to me, how it twists and turns and causes one to develop and grow in ways that were totally unexpected. i used to be a total "one of the guys" kinda chick.....never happier than at a sports bar...or in jeans and a sweatshirt, sitting on the couch drinking beer, cheering for the home team. And, make no mistake, that IS still a part of who i am but i've found that further into my submission i delve....the more girlie girlie i become. i now LOVE dressing up and looking all purty *L* The whole nine yards...the make-up done to perfection, lil black skirt, the nylons...the real kind with garters and everything!! a silky blouse, or perhaps a sexy corset...(damn Vollers' and their expensive as hell wares!!!!)hair cascading perfectly over my shoulders, and to complete the look.... i SO have my eye on a pair of black patent leather pumps, with ridiculously high heels, an ankle strap that comes with a lock and key,...yummmmmmy!!!
i think that this evolution has two possible reasons; the first being...well..so many Manly Men. i mean, who wouldn't want to luxuriate in the softness of being a woman when the Men are so Manly...strong and proud and honourable, it allows me to...relax i guess, let my guard down, and just....be. And to quote my favorite Portishead song of all time...."i just wanna be a woman." Secondly, and related comes from the desirability factor...now i'm no 10 by a long shot, but being on Alt is one hell of an ego boost...even if some of the Men doing the boosting are a bit...uhhh, suspect, shall we say? Femininity is not shunned here, it is embraced and welcomed and longed for. i LOVE being a woman..love it, love it, love it. For oh so many reasons, but thats another post.
Anyway......do you find yourselves becoming more girlie? and why do you think that is?
