Dopamine was king !!! I remember working on some basic high school maths problems and the hours slipped away.
On the one hand my work was going to be viewed and given a mark, helpful advice or even an invitation for being able to find all the mistakes in the learning material.
You've probably seen the movie 'gifted' and felt something akin to being a problem solver yourself.
Your mind was thriving on the joy of solving mysteries !
Clara and I took our craft on our journey to try to unravel the keys to doc's clues he left on the rock.
Some looked like coordinates, drawings of a perigee and apsis. It was far simpler than the many abilities of modern computers whose augmented reality threatened to swamp our mental processes.
To produce minds that were more creative and able to solve problems.
To get more dopamine!!
Minds needed drugs and when they didn't have that, it was a slow painful decline and withdrawal.
I didn't want Clara to suffer from that and took some interest in what she could determine in the docs work.
If he was looking to be rescued then just scribbling like a doomed prisoner on their prison cell walls would seem a pointless and fruitless act and he would pass away tightly gripping that thread in vain hope.
I took photos of everything I could find and would work on them in my leisure.
For now I just wanted to know how massive stones were levitated and transported.
I imagined there was only one principle involved here and that was to do with the conductive qualities and also a suspicion of conservation or electrical properties had something to do with it.
Objects once charged would repel any negatively charged ones.
Maybe a fusion like gain was there to be had too as energy in other dimensions could be accessed.
Like Jesus pulling loaves and fish from nothingness.
It was like a 3301 puzzle that drew you on.
I would have to arrange the atoms in the stone to polarize them against the atoms in the ground. Is silicate a hard magnetic material? I wondered, capacitive yes I had no doubt.
Clara had been busying herself at a nearby river and beckoned me over to her picnic lunch with a wave of her hand and whistle.
I promptly joined her and sat down on the picnic mat laid out.
I took the glass Clara proffered and took a sip of it.
I suddenly noticed how adorable she was.

It was a line I loved from the movie Margin call. Surely it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. The science behind floating was simple enough. Nothing complicated about it!
I would study the docs drawings and find out how to lift heavy stones and float that unused stone from the quarry and set it up for the queens birthday.
How wonderful that would be.
I also borrowed a hoverbike from the queens stock to take a look at it.
The technology obviously originated from the docs knowledge from so long ago.
I remembered that a walker was once confronted by a wheel that approached him and had a simple claw it used to pick up samples. It was a small device only about a meter or so in diameter and it seemed to float over the ground barely touching it.
Of alien origins you would think?
It was a first contact device sent from curious other planetary beings.
Maybe it had an interesting battery in it too.
Also that it may have been traveling so long that newer rapidly advancing technology overtook it and the newer exploration craft would have overtaken it to get there first.
It was no more than a piece of archaic history by the time it arrived.
But still better than what people had.
It bothered me that I couldn't figure it out myself and had to resort to stealing another's ideas.
I'd built up my own doctorate of mathematical philosophy when just in junior school.
I wasn't into others ideas at all.
So now I undid the covers of the machine obviously expecting to see some sort of gyroscope device and then to my surprise I instantly recognized the machine tool that resided in there.
I'd seen drawings of it before in a professors scrap book. It was just dismissed as some crackpot idea that would never work but work it did.
I remember the theory vaguely that it solidified quantum particles to form a resistive load below the bike for it to float on.
So not necessarily anti gravity in the purest sense. Just a manipulation of the ether.
Simply aligning the poles of particles to create a solid field. It really wasn't that complicated at all.
It was technically quantum molecular surfing. But water could be a problem as hydrogen atoms would degrade the field turning it into heat.
I was too preoccupied to notice what was happening around me and I didn't notice Clara's approach.
I'd just banged the cover back into place when she asked " How about a ride mister?"
I quickly hid my startled face and replied "Sure, hop on!"
Which she did and we sped around the town and park till the machine's warning lights came on and it parked itself.
"Didn't you charge it?" Clara demanded, and I just explained that I hadn't got to it.
So we alighted and took a seat on the park bench overlooking the river.
I couldn't help trying to imagine how the technology I'd just seen could be adapted to moving heavy stones.
I suppose it only took a force to energize the silica component of the rock.
It would be fascination to get make one of those boulders I'd seen at the quarry float.
It seemed obvious that alien had once shown humans how to do that as they'd never figure it out for themselves.
I invited Clara to take a trip with me to explore more of what the doc had left behind. I explained to her my plan for the queens birthday. She loved the idea and was sure in her own mind that I could levitate a huge boulder.
Soon the breakdown service vehicle arrived and charged up our vehicle.

Aliens could go a bass and blue was their favorite color and girls with long beautiful hair were good too. So you are not just idiots with nuclear weapons but a cute "stepping off point." Which aliens had once too and I guess that's why they've tolerated humans and not terminated them.
We should explore the middle ground, that love of music, beats and bass, and sexy girls with long hair.
AI in a gene gnome, see vid Digital fabrication transfers from biology to a machine to biology? ie the cycle is complete. The number 5 arrives by competing forces not by being an essential biologic atomic building block but more of a juxtaposition. The fact that you play music with five fingers disassociates music from the designers building cornerstones. An adaption if you will. The aliens consider things like that. It's like Feynman's take on you brushing your teeth.

I felt expunged with joy.
Joy in that there was no greater thing than just existing with a tranquil state of mind.
I pulled out the jewel from my pocket and was lit by joy.

It was my take on the world, or world rather and I would do the same whichever one I was on.
A boy described how in the 'timeless' space there was many different planets available and it was your state of development that had you progressing to the better ones over time and experience.
Even scientists were confused about making sense of everything saying that coincidence just couldn't cut it when trying to make sense of it.
But I was steadfast about thinking there were many limitations and an enormous potential for miracles to happen but it was as if they weren't allowed.
Messing with the space time continuum was endangering the whole setup.
I wondered if I'd arrived at something like a spare Earth, that was just there in case it was needed.
Apart from humans the life was very basic.
Sure there was mature forests the size of many Amazons and those trees towered over the landscape and the canopies were joined and extensive and vines strung them together but animals had never taken root here.
There was only an ancient form of marine sea creatures like molluscs and crustaceans.
Humans didn't really belong here at all and maybe if there was a God he'd begrudgingly decided to let them stay.
There'd been squabbles amongst them, and they'd basically settled into two groups. The naturists and the scientists.
I could see the importance of being good caretakers as becoming too emboldened with self rightness and ego was a one way ticket to extinction.
Now I had to carefully weigh up my own influence and to tread carefully about what impact I'd have.
If I did have a way to go back in time far enough to rescue the Doc, should I do that?
There was certain things that perhaps endangered the very essence of creation.
There was also the thing about spirits, like a bank of them existed and I knew from experience that they didn't play by the normal rules of time.
You could have a remembering their past life like it had only happened yesterday but chronographically their past life could be many thousands of years ago.
A sort of suspended animation at play.
Time itself was looking more like just a ruse the Gods came up with.
Aliens proved that too and the aliens found a way to escape the confines of a single dimension.
I had a sneaky suspicion that aliens were outcasts with no rightful place of their own.
Just interdimensional hitchhikers perhaps.
I assumed that if you knew the aliens well enough something insightful would become instilled in your cognitive apprehension.
And we were already seeing that with the rise of of the sigmas. They could not fit back into the box that their progenitors put themselves in.
Now they had freedom!
But irksome thoughts still remained about how the whole thing could work and on how to put their profit into a bank to save it.
No point going back to the stuffy set of rules of conventional thinking.
You were now above being human and interesting pervasive tidbits (like love) existed like a now defunct obsolete organ.
The last vestiges of the feeling of love were embarrassing to many as they put you in a vulnerable position.
It was now possible to remove the responsible 'love' organ just as simply as a pair of tonsils.
The wound once healed would quickly be forgotten and if you did come across mention of love in a classic literature or something of that nature you could believe they'd used a word created on the spot out of desperation to fill a void in the page.
It would make you laugh at how silly those early narrators were.
Isn't that essentially what early writing was? I remember that Shakespeare sought revenge against land lords who had him flogged for being a poacher.
Maybe all he was capable of was a simple tryst scratched onto a wall in a public place.
But it did give a girl a little churlish grin as she considered the boy's bold act. Maybe enough to seek him out and play games in the hay somewhere.
People only had short lives back then so perhaps sex was only known about in its prime.
Organs would be hammered mercilessly till like a wounded foe they'd surrend, relinquishing their precious fluids with 'dismay' on their faces. Or "whatever" you want to put in there.
Even a burning brinkmanship may be felt if pride allows it.
I don't really know.
But anyway eyes had a way of asking and I guess somewhere it had got to the queen that I had a little extra in the biology compartment.
I was invited to a banquet feast and provided with maids to bathe and dress me accordingly.
Thankfully 'T's were common and well accepted in that place. Interestingly they'd had a machine since the earliest times that made ice and icecream (made from sea cucumber as there's no cows) was to be the dessert.
There would be entertainment with the meal too and girls and guys showed off their skills to a bassey accompaniment.
We chatted about the much anticipated dance off between the Earths and teams practiced in secure private places to keep their winning routines secret.
To me no matter how contrite things became between human matters there had to be a laying down of swords to allow for the simp0le pleasure of dancing.
Of exuberance connected to it.
All manner of respectful acknowledgement too was given to a worthy adversary.
Reminds me of a song? If I could find that? Shalalalala in the morning was how it went.

An ancient hidden Metropolis out in the jungle.

I went with the queen and her to a site the historian thought the Lord of Shiva symbol was.
The historian had been here before and on the way he picked up a young girl to bring with us explaining that he had a real surprise for me, and indeed he was right for this girl claimed to have lived there many thousands of years ago and that's how she knew what the ancient inscriptions and carvings meant.
She explained that once an alien race became stuck there and had to do the best they could with the little they had.
They manipulated the local environment the best they could and they'd managed to produce some crops.
The shards of pottery that were strewn around the site looked like they'd been machined on a lathe.
The historian lead me to where the image I sought was and we were soon at an impressive chasm carved into the rock face .
It was here that many interesting carvings and symbols dotting the walls and they reminded me of schematics I'd seen relation to electric fields and propulsion differentials.
One apparatus, an ankh I think it was called had a descriptive explanation next to it that showed it represented a field cast about it.
For what purpose I thought, but it looked simple enough to make it so I took pictures of it.
We asked the girl if she knew what it was and she replied that it was the key they used to access the window of the Gods.
It was how they viewed the other side. There was images of what looked like a white haired wizened old man perfecting one of his inventions.
He was also shown at a blacksmiths forge, hammering away at something.
Metal, presumably, and if he had metal then a wire drawing machine perhaps too and a way to make electric fields.
The girl read some of the wall art and said there was some sort of a quarrel and two sons parted to pursue different lives.
The Queen suggested I read their holy scriptures to find out more. Which I agreed to.
I suspect the doc, if that was his work here was trying to harness a lightning bolt to power his machine as there was pictured some tall towers connected by bursts of energy.
The whole scene had a Tesla invention look about it and I remember reading about his theories of energy capture.
He was actually right on the money too and he only needed to make a small compensation in his machine to capture the nodes of quantum time in order to break free from his time and dimension.
He would die a bitter dejected old before his time man never actually seeing his idea reach fruition.
The little girl had wondered off and when we caught up with her she was looking at another drawing pointing out that here was the device they used to lift the heavy stones. What? I wondered if this was the explanation for how the numerous obelisques were moved.
I took more photo of that explaining to the queen that it may have something to do with anti gravity.
She acknowledged that and suggested that it could be where an inventor who lived long ago had shown how to make craft that floated, a forerunner of what they now used.
"Of course you know about stuff like that." She said.

Giant teeth and singing cats. "You're not from around here!"

Clara had borrowed a few of my things to show and impress her friends and word quickly spread around and I was summoned to appear before their queen and to bring in the curious items I had.
I still had some images on my device and the Queen wanted to see them too.
She was particularly impressed with my photos of horses with riders as they were a particular interest of mine.
"What a magnificent looking beast" She commented after viewing the ones in my collection.
Then she marveled at the Megladon tooth and her eyes lit up in wonderment when I showed her the opal. The opal was a blue world trapped in a stone and the queen told me they had nothing on her planet that could match the beauty of it.
She knew the basics of how I'd got there from interviewing Clara and wanted to go to where I came from to see for herself a World that was far beyond what they knew off.
I felt on a high from the Queens appreciation of my things and to top it off I showed her a vid of singing cats.
Immediately she realized that that was what her palace was missing. Singing cats!
Maybe I'd found myself in a position of interest and advantage. I wondered how I could take advantage of that.
A home by the seaside and servants to take care of my every need.
But what really tugged at my interest was finding evidence that proved that the "doc" had really become shipwrecked here long ago and had started humans here.
I wondered if I should mention that but a nagging suspicion made me hold that to myself.
I could be labelled a heretic for proposing that humans had not been the result of God's work.
Then I'd be imprisoned or become an outcast . I had to be careful.
I showed the Queen my craft which was just a fundamentally bare boned deal that I'd not got around to tidying up.
I explained the risks of it trying to instill the danger of messing with forces that could reject an unwelcomed intrusion.
She was hard to put off and wanted to know what I would accept for my services.
I showed her the pic of lord Shiva and told her I was interested in finding it.
She instructed an historian to help me with it and she offered to come with me to inspect it. When the historian arrived she summoned some flying craft that were the size of a motorbike but had no wheels.
They were such a common device she did not feel any need to describe how it worked.
I hadn't mentioned that we didn't have that technology on my Earth.

Something puzzling about the Goddess Dianna?

I went with Clara to check out the Museum of fine arts (on her Planet) and found intriguing images that made the sound track from Chariots of the Gods play in my head.
The images were of the Goddess Dianna who from the front was shown to be a shemale.
Something strange was depicted here and there was a cherub floating above a trumpet.
Was this a clue to how they'd moved those massive stones?
In fact much of the artwork shown had something to do with defying gravity.
They had of course achieved that as their personal craft demonstrated and I was yet to understand the technology that allowed that.
I remember a guy once purported that the answer lay in beetles wings as from a technical standpoint the aerodynamics wasn't enough to enable them to fly, but with the anti gravity components in their wing surfaces they achieved the edge needed to make it happen.

I decided to look around Clara's Earth to to get an understanding of what had gone on there.
Obelisques were found from one end of the continents to the other and no one could remember anything about them because they were made so long ago.
It was rumored that the earliest inhabitants were technologically advanced and the older it was the better it was.
Like people had lost the ability to shape and lift the huge stones.
I thought about my own Earth and how it would weather time. Perhaps everything the humans had built would quickly disintegrate and the jungle would take over and hide that chapter of human occupation.

I got everything that I needed stowing them into the time machine and somehow knew I wouldn't be back.
Clara was looking forward to getting home and as the time machine warmed up I asked Clara if she'd like to see where my world ended up, suggesting we take a small trip into my future.
She agreed and we set off arriving in a place of darkness.
So this is how it had become.
All efforts to tame global warming and green house gasses had failed and now the only available option was depopulating the planet.
Some escaped any way they could hooking vehicles together to head off into the snow country.
Satanism was now the only religion and so they took on the task of neutering the males to stop them breeding.
I'd wished I'd never decided to go there ,but I guess at least now I had no reason to ever come back.
We wished them adios with a final salute then set of again to Clara's world.
The trip was as bumpy as the first time and when we finally got through the wormhole the strong sunshine was a glorious welcoming thing.
Everyone was busying themselves with the daily chores and the streets had only the hum of solar powered cars.
They'd had success as I suppose by not having any alternative energy supply they had to make it work.
A borg was busy serving at a street shop and it had a beauty that rivaled the very best that biology could achieve.
