On Friday morning at 09:41 Vicki White 56, the assistant director of corrections, in Florence, Alabama left the detention facility with inmate Casey White 38. Whites job description was coordinating transportation between the detention center and the court...
In possession of a weapon and in direct violation of policy, which insists on 2 officers during transports. White told a booking officer she was taking the inmate for a mental health evaluation. Then she was going t o her own Dr's office once he was secured. She never made that Dr's appointment...
The transport vehicle they had traveled in was spotted as early as eleven am in a near by shopping center. Meanwhile, back at the detention facility the alarms were not sounded until 3:30 pm. When the Sheriffs office realized the 2 were missing. Numerous attempts t o contact Officer Whites phone went t o voicemail...
So now... Investigators are trying t o figure out what the fuck happened? Were there interactions between the recently? All officers who worked closely with White will be questioned about her recent behavior. Was there anything said in inmate phone logs, where a escape could have been premeditated? Any and all leads will be investigated. Where a determination can be made? Did she assist him in escaping? Or was she taken against her will?
The Sheriffs office described White as a "exemplary employee" who has been employed with them for 25 years. And they are beyond shocked that she is missing. And have not ruled out that White could be in danger...
The FBI, U.S. Marshalls , and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, are all assisting in the search...
After knowing all of this. Would your opinion change. If you found out White submitted her retirement paperwork on Thursday!
